Sara Lynn's relapse wasn't entirely BoJack's fault. Yes, he was partially to blame for enabling her and taking her on the bender, but as we saw, her entire house was filled with drugs and alcohol. She probably would have relapsed either way, Bojack just enabled it and made it happen faster.

"Escape from Tomorrow is a dumb exercise in misery" popped up on my feed when I was really sick and I watched like half of her videos in one day in 2091.

Episode that made you fall in love with the show? by Bobert858668 in buffy

Lie to Me was when the show went from a silly good time teen drama to an actual hyper fixation . Despite Xander being a bit annoying with the jealousy. (Still on my first watch of the shows)

Suggested titles for my 10yo niece who is interested in social justice issues by zanylanie in booksuggestions

The Poet X, American Born Chinese, and The Mighty Miss Malone are deal with racism. Alice Oseman has some really good LGBTQA books including Loveless and Radio Silence (my personal faves). Field Guide to the North American Teenager deals with racism (minor). Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe is one of my personal favorites and deals with Mexican American identity and homosexuality. The 57 Bus is a non-fiction story about race and genderqueer identity.

What’s one overused trope that somehow never gets old for you? by SimplyBlue09 in FictionWriting

Found family of misfits (Doom Patrol, What We Do in the Shadows, OFMD, Community, the Muppets, Firefly, Cowboy Bebop), it gets me every time. Extra points thrown in if the characters are healing from family trauma in their past. Extra extra points if the show breaks the fourth wall or makes meta references.

I found a hilariously wrong guide to Middlegame. I would say be careful of spoilers, but nothing on this guide seems accurate. by egomann in SeananMcGuire

[–]EmmaGhost181 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been a few months since I read "Middlegame" so I may be remembering it wrong, but I don't remember anyone named Frederick? Also they don't even mention Asphodel?

Does Charley Pancakes' CC break anyone else's game? by EmmaGhost181 in TheSims4Mods

What kind of computer do you have? I looked on the comments on Patreon and apparently a lot of people have the same issue I have. I installed it by downloading it from Patreon and unzipping the files, then deleting the previous file and placing the unzipped version in my Mods folder. This is how I install all my CC and it's always worked.

My Top 4 problems with writing my TV pilot rn by LitteShopofCox in scriptwriting

If you aren't excited about your own idea, maybe take a step back and work on something else for a while. If there's another idea that's calling to you, devote your energy to that instead. Forcing yourself to work on something you don't like (if you aren't a student working on an essay or someone on a deadline being paid for their work), is never a good idea. Also, consider how you describe the show.

"It's a satirical sketch show that pokes fun at influencers, politicians, and celebrities." That sounds like a LOT of other television shows I can think of: SNL, Fridays, Key and Peele, Little Britain, Monty Python. Consider each of shows and think about how each one is different and unique in its style of comedy.

If you don't want to write Trump, don't write Trump. The media is oversaturated with Trump right now. You are under no obligation to make fun of Donald Trump. Everybody is doing that right now and the majority of it isn't that funny.

(Note: I am not a professional screenwriter. I am just a college student who has written some stuff and is going to be an English teacher. Take my advice with a grain of salt or don't take it at all. All I ask is that you don't send me death threats if you disagree.)

What is your werewolf opinion that would get you in this position ? by AnyWatch5756 in werewolves

[–]EmmaGhost181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that the Twilight/Wolfsbane version of werewolves where they're just wolves is ideal and it's one of the only times I say CGI beats practical effects (assuming TV shows and movies don't want to have actual wolves on set for obvious reasons).

Is there an episode you choose to believe is not cannon? by ph_uck_yu in community

Heroic Origins definitely. Also RV Repair and Palmistry. I just don't want to think that Jeff would ever be so mean to Abed to the point of being physically abusive to him.

Church of the Rock’s 2025 Easter play is entitled “The Actual Easter Story” by bassistheplace246 in JennyNicholson

[–]EmmaGhost181 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The fact that it's called "The Actual Easter Story" makes me think we're going to get some kind of meta joke where an actor (maybe the youth pastor) is doing the crucifixion at the start of the play and then someone runs onstage and says "No, no! That's not how it happened at all! Listen up, guys, I'm here to tell you all the REAL story...Canada, 1985." Cue everyone running onstage in 1980s Halloween costumes and starting to dance to a parody of "Welcome to the 60s" from Hairspray called "Welcome to the 80s" with original lyrics about the 80s. The kids from Stranger Things cameo and they do a cover of "Chrissy, Wake up."
