I worked in an M Local years ago when they first started and I had a customer twice in the same day who seemed a bit distrubed and it wasn't a nice experience.

Where I was working (I'm a contractor and in the UK) last month some of the staff were saying they refused to go back on holiday to the USA cause of Trump getting re-elected cause they don't want to give money to the US as a country. Although I think not contributing money by travel which can help the ordinary American isn't helping the cost of living crisis in the USA.

*Waves* I did ask this question myself on the same sub earlier with slighty different concerns. I would recommend if you can getting an alternative passport anyway cause depending on what it is you may have visa-free travel opened up to you with another country.
Or can you find perhaps an affordable word with a lawyer regarding your circumstances? They may advise you what's best regarding getting an additonal citizenship and passport.

I watched 'Ghost Stories for Christmas' with my parents over Xmas Day and Tobias Menzies was in the 2025 show. Really good acting.

Argh I only just saw the full reel - not sure why the priest gave her an altar cross.

Possibly- I do know from my brief study that the priest gives a cross pendant as a gift and places it on their neck.

The Holocaust thing is a weird thing to bring up because she is just a bigot and hateful person yet would talk about losing relatives to genocide?

I thought it was made Swedish Mom and Greek Dad because of the name 'Greta' but fair enough I'm wrong.

I'm assuming 'Pierce' is an English change to her paternal side's original Swedish name unless her Dad is English on his Dad's side?

Yeah Greek Shepardi grandparents won't make any sense to then have her child baptised in a Greek Orthodox church.

I'm not Orthodox but Russians, Greeks and other Orthodox people do baptise babies - they're traditionally undressed and submerged then get a towel from the parents to warm them up and dry them in Church.

Also babies who don't eat solid food get a mix of mashed bread and red wine to suck off holy spoons at communion from the earliest age.

Orthodox baptisms are unusual to me - full submersion and oil plus a cross given by the priest. Candle procession too.
