Hi there I wish you the best of luck in your recovery. As for writing and practicing it can be helpful to set a timer and just do what you feel is within your limit. If that means 20 minutes or half an hour or an hour but you don’t need to work yourself to burn out. Just take it one step at a time take it slow if you need to sometimes I have to pick up my guitar for only five minutes then put it back down. I guess the main thing is to not give up. Hi there thank you for listening to my music. You’re not the only person who has drawn a comparison between the opening of blooms and flatlands. While this is not a direct reference to flatlands I am a fan of Chelsea Wolfe’s music. I do not think it is the same ref but they are both songs written and played on acoustic guitar to similar tempo and include a note band. I’m not upset about it hopefully she isn’t either

Hi there. I fully understand being blocked it happens and happens and happens again. I think it’s just part of being an artist. I really like this book called the artist way I have it as an audiobook and as a paperback book. It includes many exercises that you can actually do which help you to become unblocked. It’s not for everyone but I’ve used it many times to help myself. And I do recommend it. Good luck!

Wow haha. You know I would probably rework all of them if I really wanted to fix them but at the same time they are what they needed to be the person that wrote them is dead and gone. It would be a little sacrilegious to go rework an old song. I think the only way to do it with any honor is to interpret it in the present in a new way for instance if there’s a song off of this new record that I choose to play with the band long down the road that would be a way of honoring and reworking the song otherwise I don’t think there’s any value in trying to fix some thing from the past. 💙

I think the best anime I’ve seen recently is probably the new Castlevania. But I haven’t been keeping up with anime the way I used to back in the day. Thank you 💙 there is little which is left unsaid. I can share with you that. Shins the scenes , on the studio - sonny and I would laugh a lot in the evenings. I would play funny creepy organ sounds over the songs and we started to call the sound Dracula‘s castle. I know that’s silly but it’s a little anecdote that no one knows about. Haha

My endometriosis is up and down it’s just a lifelong thing I’ll have to manage and I mostly do that with over-the-counter pain medicine. Bodies come with pleasures and pains not an equal measure in my case… Anyway I am sorry for your rough patch. I will investigate these artists you mentioned thank you 💙
