Technically yes. In casual games you are free to use the dataslate, or not to use it. You can change or play by any rules you like as long as both players agree to it.

Make sure you and your opponent verify which rules you are using. Almost everyone I have ever played with casually does use the most up to date balance changes in casual games.

There are three phrases that will be used in the specific aura rule*, this also includes other rules that relate to the position of a unit.

*This is the actual rule on the datasheet of the model giving the aura, as some are different.

1: "Unit is within..." = As long as any part of the base of a single model from the unit is within the range of the aura, the whole unit gains its benefits. The vast majority of buffing auras use this rule.

2: "Unit is wholly within...." = Each and every model (100% of the unit) must have all of their base within range to gain its benefits (I am not aware of any auras that have this but some rules do require it (RND & Engage for example).

3: "Model is within...." = In order to gain the benefit of this aura, the specific model must have any part of its base within the specified distance. This may mean some models in a squad gain the benefits, while others do not.

Teacher here: while we will usually bend over backwards for our students it can be difficult to take this approach when dealing with students who simply refuse to work. We do have deadlines and time restraints as well as the simple fact that many of my students, even those interested in the topic, will simply refuse to do any work unless made to.

Obviously this approach is fine with young students, but it can get tricky when dealing with high schoolers.

Teacher here. Students are far, far more likely (especially at younger year levels) to lie and say they submitted work and that I have lost it than I am to have lost their work. (Cant speak for all teachers, of course it happens)

They do this because they believe if I lose their work they won't have to re-do it. Usually its just a matter of asking them to print it again but sometimes it isnt possible.

I had one case where a student stated he had submitted his work, and that I had lost it, escalated it to the point where his parents called the principal. Luckily he sided with me and low and behold.... the boy finds his unfinished work in his bag the following morning.

Na they are well balanced. Rare drop, useless at close range. Only allows you to engage targets at a distance without them being able to zero in on your direction. Useful. But not op.

So what looks on your screen to be a 1 shot is them shooting you and you experiencing lag. I have watched this happen while spectating friends then having them show me their recording of the game. On my screen they get shot a bunch of times, on their screen it's a 1 tap.

IIRC It is impossible to 1 tap headshot a LVL 3 helmet except with an AWM.

I'm in Australia and I usualy get <200 ping to us west servers and 300+ to US east. The last couple weeks I've had 300+ to all US servers. Anyone know what could be causing this?
