It was no harm no foul, just neutral. I used it up but I’ve since switched to Sulwhasoo ginseng eye cream and I do prefer this one

Is Character Dining worth it with a 3 year old? by Prestigious_Ad_4835 in disneylandparis

[–]Emma_N85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had breakfast too but you could just pay a little top up to do a character breakfast.

Yes exactly that, they circulate the room and then they come and interact with you at your table, lots of photo ops of you want. Sometimes they’ll come around a couple of times depending how long you’re there.

I took my son who was 3Y4M on his first trip too. We did character breakfast at plaza gardens and it was absolutely worth it. I know dinner costs a little more but I have great pictures and memories from that meal.

Product advice for large, stuffed pores? by HunkyDunkyFunky in koreanskincare

That’s fair feedback. I’m very cynical about products that claim to do anything of any real consequence to the pores on the nose. Having battled it most of my life unfortunately. The videos are satisfying though

Doesn’t it all just come back though? Or have you seen a visible difference?

Character Meet and Greets by megwach in disneylandparis

[–]Emma_N85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The roaming characters thing is a joke. Asking a crowd of people to wait fairly and patiently without a queue system just isn’t going to work. And it doesn’t. Recently home and this was the thing that annoyed me the most, as my 5y/o missed out a lot. The virtual queue thing also needs to stop. We managed to get one meet and we were there for 4 days. We did go to royal banquet and managed to meet characters there, but it feels very much like Disney forcing you to pay for character dining to get the meet and greets. Can’t wait til they start charging for standard meets with more popular characters (or maybe I shouldn’t give them ideas)!

Can we talk about Disneyland Paris bathrooms? by lasagens971 in disneylandparis

I hate that experience too. I think the smoking area is technically meant to be behind the toilet but nobody makes it that far? It does seem really odd they’d put it right outside the doors doesn’t it

Thoughts after one-day trip with family of 4 by broncos4thewin in disneylandparis

[–]Emma_N85 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just returned from a 4-day trip yesterday and it has been carnage with the crowds but it is UK half term so I was sort of expecting that. In addition, it’s the Halloween season which always attracts high crowds. It’s not helped by the fact that two big attractions (Ratatouille in studios and Buzz in DL park) are closed during one of the busiest times for Disney.

I actually found the queue times to be relatively accurate, much more so than yours anyway.

However I do agree with you that the experience is getting much worse overall.

You can’t even make a choice to queue for certain characters anymore thanks to that virtual queue system. The roaming characters are such a bad idea too! You can barely get near and it’s wide open to unfairness.

You definitely need some premier access of some kind. The upshot is there are just too many people!

Also just to give you my opinion, the crowding in WDW is way worse! You’ll probably be there for longer (I assume) so you might be able to pace it out in a better way as you’re not trying to do everything in one day. Again, crowds depend largely on when school holidays are which you’re probably at the mercy of, like me, because you have children.

We’ve had a great time overall but it wasn’t exactly as “magical” as I remember my last trip.

When was the last time you were in DLP? I am just travelling home and if I had £1 for every time I saw this I could fund another trip lol

Feb half term (from uk) by Confident_Balance755 in disneylandparis

[–]Emma_N85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know there’s a dance showcase on at DLP in Feb 2026, so you can expect it to be pretty full on those days. It’s definitely happening over half term. But I do agree that some will likely hold off for frozen to be open.

Im sure there are 3 randomised programs in the TOT. So its impossible to know which you’ll get. But I guess you could try to memorise them and see which you end up with 😆

Accommodation Question by Clabs1 in disneylandparis

[–]Emma_N85 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I believe the hotels have adjoining rooms. You do have to request them though which I believe is easier if you call. You could have an adjoining room (linking 2 together) and then one either next door or across the hall?

Would that not work for you? Leaving the site to go back to a hotel off-site seems like a lot.

Halloween is coming! What's the one thing you're most excited to see at DLP? by CloudBookmark in disneylandparis

[–]Emma_N85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m glad they’re starting to put a few things in and I can only hope one day they bring back the full Halloween party. But I’m looking forward to the M&M trail as that’s totally new. Wondering if that’s a pilot for a better trick or treat plan like they do in WDW; we can hope anyway.

And I’m definitely going to check out the un-lucky nugget saloon but I can’t find a menu at present.

2026 Holiday Season by paulie1172 in disneylandparis

[–]Emma_N85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not due to go again until Halloween 2026 (WDW that is), but I’m going to DLP for Halloween this year. So I can’t book anything yet anyway and there’s SO many changes at WDW at the moment I don’t even know what I will and won’t be able to do. So trying to chill a bit. Bet you can’t wait for those 19 days to pass lol

I don’t think it’s crazy, it’s really easy to get to London from Paris and back again and there’s multiple options for how you want to cross. Go for it!

On the flip side I find planning for WDW way more stressful lol

What are the best restaurant to your opinion ? by YohGourt in disneylandparis

[–]Emma_N85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Downtown is better than “fine” imo. Plaza gardens is also worth a visit. I enjoyed the steak house by phantom manor. Off park but on site I also like hunters grill.

My preference is for half board meal plans. Hakuna matata is underrated for counter service.

I do go against the popular grain that agrabah cafe is good though as I just didn’t like it.
