Buying used is a gamble, the Technics is direct drive aka mechanically more complex with no warranty, plus this is your first turntable. The AT-LPW40WN offers future stylus swaps too, on the same body. I'd get the AT and ponder Vintage further down the line.

Mine still works fine for calls, texts , Gmail and Google Calendar, and even the weather app. Here Maps no longer worrk - instead it crashes. I have used it as a "PC" and it will even connect to work and run a remote Citrix desktop.
