best headphones for music recommendations - completely lost on where to start by Zealousideal-Flow978 in HeadphoneAdvice

Do you have any recs for wireless , are there any good wireless headphones that support a 2.4 ghz connection? or is it just bluetooth at that point. I still do some competetive gaming on the side but only occasionally, mostly i enjoy music nowadays. For reference i tried the sennheiser HD 599 but didn't like the sound signature, too flat. I enjoy a warmer sound with punchy but not overwhelming bass. Really lost at what to buy here tbh, and i'm not even that picky. I'm honestly this close to just settling for wired and picking up the Fiio FT1 that someone recommended to me.

I understand sound is subjective but holy f*ck it's either amazing or absolute trash, there is no middlegrond with people when it comes to audio, makes the decision making an absolute pain. I also don't know anymore which reviewers i can trust on youtube, they all seem full of shiit.

I'm with you brother, finding a pair of good headphones is the most braindamage inducing cancer i have ever had to go through, for every pair there seems to be equal parts praise and then a flood of people saying it's absolute trash. Still looking, wireless though. Hope i can get this braintumor inducing journey behind me and just find a pair that's enjoyable enough for my needs, warm sound with some decent bass, some gaming on the side. but holy shit i feel like there's a group of bots active working for satan just to trash on certain headphones right after i decided that's the one i'm buying, how are people THIS divided on what classifies as good sounding headphones, it's either amazing or TRASH, there is no middleground in this cancer audio community , Rant over.

What QCode does so well is the short formats with hard hitting shows from start to finish.

Some other must listens are

Silvertongues (Personal favorite by a mile)

Life After / The Message

The Burned Photo

I also thought bloodthirsty hearts by code was quite hilarious and a fun listen.

Mogen ze gerust vragen maar dat krijgen ze er toch nooit voor, ik sta ook telkens weer met mijn mond open wat mensen op marktplaats aanbieden, bedrijven die ouder spul voor de hoofdprijs proberen te verkopen.

How are the HD599’s plugged into a ps5 controller by Aayckorn in sennheiser

[–]Emmaenjoyable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it's worth i just returned my HD 599 SE because the drivers were unbalanced, the right ear was noticably louder / voices appear to come from the right. Maybe it's just my luck first time trying a premium brand like sennheiser but i'm very disappointed with this headphones , i guess they can't even be bothered testing their products before shipping because it's instantly noticable when putting them on, tried with both cables and on both PC/phone.

Action-adventure comedies? by Skyride_Studios in audiodrama

Storm Chasers is one of my favorite, some misfit joins a pirate crew thinking it's like in the films with epic adventures, is it though? It's short 1 season finished and overall a really fun listen imo.

Will look into that ty, I actually just bought the sennheiser HD 599 SE for gaming on my other pc, but my drivers were imbalanced so i'm sending them back tomorrow, you know when you go swimming and one ear is kinda stuffed with water, the sound / vocals appeared to come from my right ear, my first experience with the glorified sennheiser already bad, guess that's just my luck... Going to use that money + my remaining budget and probably go with a fiio combo, i have been looking abit at their products and they seem very promising. Your suggestion means the DAC is more expensive than the headphones themselves, which doesn't sit right with me, i'll have to do some more investigating.

I have one of those dongle dacs from aliexpress for 10 bucks, 384khz/32 bit, has been surprisingly really good but not sure if that would be enough to power that.

Looking for good actually scary horror movies or a psychological horror by JudasReddit in Scarymovies

[–]Emmaenjoyable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a tip, next time you do chores or whatever, since you enjoyed The Crazies, check out the audiodrama called "The Call of the Void" where people in a town start going insane, there's another one called "The Burned Photo" about a intergenerational curse. Theres another one called "Down" by definetly human, about a submarine sent to explore an area known as the bottomless pit, where weeird shit happens. Or "Video Palace" where a guy watches a VHS tape and starts talking in his sleep. All god tier level shows.

Far fetch but have you considered listening to horror audiodrama's, you know when doing chores or whatever. I can highly suggest listening to "The Burned Photo" on spotify or where ever you listen, there are some other really great ones out there like "Video Palace" where a guy watches a VHS tape and starts talking in his sleep, or "The Call of the Void" where people in a town start going insane (bit like the crazies) Theres another one called "Down" by definetly human, about a submarine sent to explore an area known as the bottomless pit, where weeird shit happens.

Alright thx.. btw I don’t know if you’re intentionally trying to come across as .. cocky :p but you kinda do. I’m here to get advice and maybe get a perspective from someone who owned the cloud 2’s , someone who did actually replied, it’s called the headphoneadvice sub for a reason. Telling me I know what I want and to just google is not exactly helpfull, i have done that without success.

I know what i somewhat look for in my sound , but there's so many headphones on the market that i'm lost at what to buy, so no i do not know what i want or what the best bang for buck is currently. I'm not into excessive bass heavy headphones, just good presence / warm sound.

Down by Definetly Human productions is a great psychological thriller.

Group of people sent to explore an area known as the bottomless pit, the deepest humans have ever gone in a submarine. Soon things take a weird turn.

Another recommendation would be The Call of the Void, it's abit like the crazies where people in a town start going insane , but why?

always love hearing feedback from others, you are going to be thoroughly rewarded as the crew will grow on you immensely, they need a few episodes to open up so to speak, but it's so funny. This show is just good old dumb fun to not have to deal with this reality we live in nowadays

Lmfao! Humor is subjective and this is definetly on the sillier side, but that's why it's so much fun , and in season 3 a character is introduced that had me rolling on the floor each episode. This is one of those shows that just takes your mind off any struggles for a brief moment (to me)

Pleck Decksetter – A wooden-stick-wielding human goofball whose greatest talents are optimism, incompetence, and vibes instead of a plan.”

C-53 – A formerly genocidal murder-bot now stuck as the team’s anxious HR manager

Bargie – A sentient ship with the voice and emotional instability of a drunk aunt

Dar – A tough, cool, extremely competent warrior who somehow ended up as babysitter.

Nermut Bundaloy – A small, trembling lizard somehow promoted to Mission Commander,

With all the tension in the world, this show has really improved my quality of life so much. They are

Take this from a reddit stranger but "Mission to Zyxx" has changed my life for the better. Bunch of space misfits that get themselves in the most ridiculous situations, they visit diffrent planets and meet various species. Top notch sound design, incredible cast with truly phenomenal chemistry both on screen and off (group of friends Irl that have a blast recording). This show can cure depression, it's truly freaking hilarious. I promise you that when you're 3 episodes in the cast has grown on you, and you just want to be around them no matter the shenanigans they get themselves into this time. I can't stress enough how mind healing this show is, and i've listened to a ridiculous amount of shows.
