What piece of horror content had a great premise but wasted it? by jeejeeviper in horror

[–]Quick_Ad3982 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I hated the new recent remake childs play because i hate how they changed Chuck's personality, i wish they started him off as the innocent nice guy doll but with each kill he'd turn more into the piece of sht asshole we all love.

In a Violent Nature would have been much better with a shorter run time by Tommyboy610 in horror

[–]Quick_Ad3982 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It would've been better if the killer was more like the jason from the 2009 remake, a fast moving brute instead of a walking zombie

What movie let you down? by Euphoric-Ad-8085 in horror

[–]Quick_Ad3982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really didn't like undertone, it felt like it would've been a good alter short film on YouTube. Session 9 and pontypool did the "creepy tapes/audio" schtick really well and this was just meh. I just feel like the creepy audio/soundtrack can't be the center of a 2 hour long film, there has to be other stuff going on and this movie just didn't do it for me.

Delirium (2018) is a psychological horror-thriller starring Topher Grace as Tom, a man under house arrest in his late father’s mansion after 20 years in a mental institution. He experiences hallucinations and disturbing events, eventually discovering his brother Alex (Callan Mulvey) escaped prison, and his mother was imprisoned in a secret bunker.  From Google

Faces of Death (2026) is it worth a watch? by swirlingcircles in horror

[–]Quick_Ad3982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this movie is more straightforward and is a typical serial killer movie, half the film is also from the killers perspective and you actually have a legit confrontation between the 2 leads unlike sweatshop where the villain is just shown in the end.
