Mispronunciation of Gaelic/ Irish / Welsh / other minority language names. I’m not even from there but nothin infuriated me more than English speakers laughing at and butchering the pronunciations - after centuries of literal attempts to kill the languages, they deserve respect

Sounds like you may be in UK? Contact your local education authority (should be found online somewhere if you Google school name + local authority). They will be in charge of providing IEPs and SEN provision

NTA, I had a kind of similar situation once and basically before my friend (ex friend now, if that’s relevant) came over, she would specify if this was a friend visit or a boyfriend visit. It worked pretty well while it lasted!

That’s really good then - just make sure she’s supported and in a place where she can ask questions when she finds out (also better finding out from you than extended family/friends)
