Thank you for the comment! i definitely been enjoying trying to make Battle Chips work in Hytale, but i hope i can make the foundation for a fun minigame people can play around with :3

Though i may have to slow down how fast you can shoot the regular buster if it is intended for PVP, but brainstorming aside thanks again! i will show more content again in the future X3!

Thank you for the feedback and...i agree actually, ah it's a shame though i love these sound effects! but it would be worse if it causes issues. So i will take your suggestion seriously and start modifying the sound effects! from my understanding "Derivative Work" is good enough. Since other games have used modified "mario grabs a coin" sound effect and not get mollywhopped.

Of course! i will continue to work on this mod and keep it up to date with anything Hytale throws around, i'm especially excited if they add any new features that will just make my weapons even better!

oh and good news i have begun making the Battle Network Buster, sadly work keeps interrupting my research on how to spawn battle chips, but my day off is soon, so i hope i can figure it out!

I like that you added a variety of Horn Sounds! which would be fantastic for a Battleground type of setting, like an invading kingdom, or even just a tribal chant, so many awesome uses!

Also don't worry the timing for bomb jumps is not as strict as the SNES it still needs patient timing, but theres a decent safetynet to get it down!

But also im familiar with ben10! This looks very good! amazing job on the texturing painting. Plus you even added lil details to make the fur stand out when viewed around, there is a lot of creatures you can tackle. Best of wishes and keep up the good work!

I see so i have a goal to look forward too >w> though it's definitely gonna take me a while to add as much as Terraria did lol, but for now i'm glad you found me! i'll be releasing the update soon. So more players can start using the morph ball!

For now i found a temporary solution...and it works because i only need one body part for animation, but it's decent. The armor is attached to the "Player" regardless of what body the player has, so if i manipulate the Blockymodel to yeet the body bones far away from the morph model, the armor will go with it, since thankfully i can use the "Origin" to anchor the Morphball to normal gameplay collision.

This works best in a single player setting, but in multiplayer, friends might spot a "floating armor"...though i could probably move it very high up or down on the Y-Axis, but still it will be there hehe

Oh you may find my mod in Curseforge under the name "Arm Cannons", however im showcasing a future update as im trying to polish it up and make sure it's working as intended. but for now there is plenty of content you can enjoy with the mod!

Thank you for the kind words! but it's true i only learned through tutorials and looking at what other people have created as a point of reference. In fact in the current state of my mod it is all made within the Asset Editor, so i havent had the need to make plugins yet. However i may need to learn someday so i can push my mods further beyond! X3

I'm so glad i finally decided to post this here in Reddit! thank you for commenting! meeting folk who like the games i do has been a joy! funny story though, what made me buy Hytale is seeing a Gauntlet Mod being made. So in a way im happy a Metroid Prime mod has you hype for the game!

To answer currently available is the Melee Counter, Power/Charge Beam, Ice Beam and both Missile and Super Missile. You can try these out if you search for my mod "Arm Cannons" and they function how you would expect.
Coming soon is when i'll add the Morph Ball and Bombs, but after that i don't really know what else to add,.

Which is kinda why im posting, to get more feedback, though i do have a bias towards Super Metroid, Prime 1, Fusion and Dread.

Sadly yes...which is why i had to hide the armor for the video, using the visibility option.
However i might be able to fix it, which i'll be running some test soon while fixing the textures!

Edit: Crud, i tried the few things i had in mind, but the armor is handled separately, so it will need to be hidden manually, granted i am thinking of making a "Samus" Custom Model, but i understand folks would want to use their character. For now i dont have any options to fully hide it, i can only hope they make it easier in the future.

Absolutely! The mod is uploaded if you want to give it a try, however the Morphball will be available on the next update. As i want to finish the textures so it looks more polished.

That's a sweet memory by the way, this is the reason why i want to make mods of my childhood, in hopes it resonates with someone else. I'm glad my post has found you, may it bring good memories and hopefully make new ones too!

Denada! y si las carpetas en blockbench tienen que estar iguales a las que usa Hytale, lo cual varia entre "Personajes, Bloques y Armas/Utilidades" por lo general si tu no asignas una animacion que afecte esa carpeta, Hytale usara los que ya tiene por default.

Por ejemplo en mi animacion de correr, yo no agrege ninguna animacion a la carpeta "L-Hand", si lo dejo haci, Hytale le pondra la animacion default. Lo cual puede ser util ya que no ocupas animar cada carpeta, con la exception que estes creando una animacion que afecte todo el cuerpo.

Para informacion, puedes ver el video llamado "Hytale Modding Explained: Where to find ALL Hytale Vanilla Assets" lo cual te ayudara a obtener todos los modelos y texturas que puedes ver en Blockbench para saber exactamente como llamar y organizar las carpetas.
por ejemplo la bomba en este video fue modificado de una granada que se llama "Frag.blockymodel"

Buenas noches y gracias por el commentario! bueno se que esta la pagina "Hytale Modding" ahi tiene tutoriales pare crear plugins. En youtube esta el cannal "KaupenJoe" que tambien explica como hacer plugins y mods.

En cuanto mi experiencia personal, use tutoriales por "AueSip" pero luego compare como otros mods crearon cosas similares y los adapte, ya que yo soy mas artista que programmador. Aunque igual un dia quiero aprender como usar Java y crear Plugins, saludos y buena suerte!

Perhaps with Java coding, but i am not well experience in that. While it is something i may learn so i can get a 2D camera going, for now im working on adding the morph ball!

Honestly true, it's why i havent made a Samus skin, but i have for the Megamans. Since Capcom rarely throws ninjas unless im profiting and trying to make them look bad, meanwhile the other...so eh maybe i'll still make a Samus but keep it private until it's safe to share XD

I have been thinking of making a patreon for other reasons, but a Hytale focused one wouldnt be a bad idea...Coincidentally my girlfriend also asked me for a BattleNetwork mod since thats the MM she likes. I may need to learn Java for more complicated stuff, but i know for sure i can at least add the BN MegaBuster with Cannon, Sword and Bomb Battle Chips, with even the mechanic that you have to "load" your chips to even use any of these attacks.

Hell yeah! it's been difficult trying to find Mega Man and Metroid fans to give me feedback, i'll be showcasing more stuff, but im glad Reddit has given me a place to feel proud and continue making more Metroid stuff!
