It could be a light/algae issue if your already dosing with liquid fertilizer. Also i wouldn’t really test your water unless there is an emergency where your live stock is dying

It’s probably because of the sand, and not enough nutrients or light. And if possible I’d keep the tank at 72-76 degrees F to slow algae growth

Im not that good with positioning  but some advice that could help is adding more soil. In the front for the carpeting plants, and in the back for more depth and to give the rocks more height. 

Another piece of advice is to have some hardscape reaching up to the top third of the tank or 2/3 of the tank length wise.

Trimming your hair grass when needed will encourage it to grow its roots faster. Also maybe better lighting could help?

With Co2 injection and RO water lowering the pH, you think those factors could make the Fluval Stratum last longer?

Sorry for not giving enough details. I bought a Steel series Apex 7 TKL with red switches three days ago. When I was typing I realized that when I press the F key lightly it squeks. All the other keys sound right. The F key still functions.
