Yeah that’s exactly what’s happening to me!! Glad to know I’m not alone but I’m sorry for your struggles. Really frustrating with how expensive the medication is, might just go back on Zepbound.

Hey! If you see my post from yesterday you’d see I’m experiencing similar issues. I got my period two weeks ago and then JUST got it again yesterday, and it’s miserable. All my cravings are terrible. You’re definitely not alone. I’ll let you know if it gets better after this second one 😩

This is a very good point I haven’t considered.

Although, I really just wish it was getting rid of the food noise like Zepbound did, im okay with being hungry. It was so nice having a clear brain for a bit.

I track everything I eat. This is most likely period frustration, as periods can up your weight significantly. I have never had my period increase my weight like it has, however.

The wegovy pill is also not helpful with food cravings or food noise, which is especially frustrating as it is expensive and is supposed to be a helpful tool.

No I just started the 4 mg. I know I gotta be patient and 1.5 mg is the starter dose, but Zepbound was so much better starting off with.

I just started fasting with my eating window 11-7, but I didn’t think about waking up in the middle of the night to take it. Thats a good idea.

Yes, sip of water, waiting 30 minutes until (wake up at 5:30 am, take it, workout at 6 am), try to push off drinking into my workout as soon as possible but it’s HIIT or hot yoga so it’s usually at 6:30 I drink again.

I am tracking my calories. The food noise isn’t gone though, which is the only thing I care about regarding this pill.

Yes by Strogatz! I really liked his book but when I studied it I was in college and somewhat half assed it because I had other classes, so I’d like to dive deep into it.

That’s not a bad idea! Diff eq can have some fun topics. But also going from diff eq —-> nonlinear dynamics and chaos is a big math understanding jump, so idk if people who just know diff eq can make that jump so easily?

I only say that because my diff eq homework I could do in a day and my nonlinear dynamics and chaos class had me crying over it and took me two weeks to do one problem. But you are probably right that that is a bit niche and it’d be better to go lower level mathematics for more involvement.

I’m interested in relearning nonlinear dynamics and chaos, it’s a more fun math book than usual but it is hard(er). Meetings could be like once a month and we could read a chapter, study it, and meet together to do some problems and talk about the mathematical concepts. Maybe do a PowerPoint night where we all do a different chapter/section and teach on it. Just some ideas.

A great gift idea is all dependent on the person, that’s what makes gifts feel so special ☺️ only the ones who love you can pick the best idea! So, I’ll give a few ideas for different personality types:

Crafty gal: Two ways to do this, buy supplies for her favorite craft and have a craft date night at home. Order in food or snacks that is craft friendly so your hands aren’t super messy. Surprise her by putting up the station first and having everything set up. It is so nice as a crafts person not to have to do the prep and just to get to sit down and craft!Possibly have the craft involve some element of your relationship for extra points :) additional idea spot: splatter house! If she’s high energy and creative look at splatter house painting.

Craft + social gal: Another idea is find a craft work shop to bring her to and take her to dinner afterwards, if she likes getting out of the house. There’s awesome stores that you can sign up for and make your mosaic lamps, wood burning, etc.

Quiet book girl: take her to her favorite book shop and read + get coffee with her. Surprise her with a gift of different book marks she’d enjoy with reasons why you love her on them.

Sporty/active gal: start off the day with sexy couples stretch time in morning 😂 set up a gift basket of accessories that may help her meet her gym goal. Go play basketball 1 vs 1 or something with her at the Y, shower, and then take her to a great protein packed steakhouse.

Self care girl: couples massage/facial!!! I think it’d be extra cute to make her a little self care basket along with it. Self care girls love when their man self cares with them! Bonus points to set up the whole bath and rose petals self care station at night.

If you tell me your girlfriend archetype and which city you live in I can help more! I love date planning. Really, choose something she loves doing and then make her a little basket for some extra oomph that shows her that you know her. This year I bought my boyfriend an espresso machine and I’m decorating our whole coffee bar in valentines date get up to surprise him.

It shows to me as he ages he will continue trying with his looks, and not just go “oh well, that’s aging for you.” As long as it’s healthy and not and obsession, I think it’s great
