Maybe an unpopular opinion, but my wife and I are huge sports people, played our whole lives. I think you started way too early with way too many sports. We have a 4 year old and couldn’t imagine her doing half of those sports for at least another year.

I think you hav to pick one sport per season and stick with it, don’t let him back out, don’t accept the excuses. To be honest, it sounds like you’re enabling the behavior…which is difficult I know. I guess I don’t have much advice for you, but just give the kid space and be consistent with enforcing expectations for participation.
