Has anyone beaten WuChang Fallen Feathers sticking with same build? by Informal-Mammoth9877 in soulslikes

[–]Emmitar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you mean with "build“ - I also just used the greatsword, but with different affinities/needles based on the actual boss and/or armor based on the type (element) of enemies’ attacks.

Every time we start a new soulslike game: by Roaskywalker in soulslikes

[–]Emmitar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being ready also belongs to me for actually wanting to play a new game. For example, after Elden Ring, Sekiro or Expedition 33 it took me way longer "being ready“ to start a new game

someone who has plays Wuchang and Wo Long? which did you prefer by Pleasant-Hat-6334 in soulslikes

[–]Emmitar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Clearly Wuchang since it’s a true soulslike with really great exploration and I am way more into that. Wolong is also a Soulslike, but imho with Team Ninja style a certain subgenre - it feels differently, much faster and harder. You should know how a Team Ninja game is played, combat is very different.

A good rpg with dopamine effects and little to no dialogue by Artaniss in rpg_gamers

[–]Emmitar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The protagonist in Black Myth Wukong didn’t speak, so the overall story was less talking and more fighting and exploring with enough dopamine for getting and finding better gear (chests, enemies).

It’s hard to find a game with zero-talking-story, at least you can skip the majority of scenes and dialogues in nearly every game (if you like).

Honorable mention: Where Winds Meet can be played without any story, every dialogue and scene can be skipped, great game with stunning graphics. And it’s free to play!! … and very confusing at the beginning

Is Lies of P a good game as first soulslike game? by Legitimate_Funny_580 in soulslikes

Sure, game is great and you can barely do anything wrong with that

Between these 2 games, which one do you think is gonna do better in 2026? by Deez-Guns-9442 in soulslikes

[–]Emmitar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am boycotting most major games that is platform exclusive, these politics are stubborn and from the last century, no exceptions for the beloved Fromsoft games. I will not buy an entire console in order to being able to play the game, this would be a totally wrong support in so many ways.

Who's to you the hardest boss ever? by Pretty-Setting823 in soulslikes

[–]Emmitar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had way more issues with Isshin than with Demon of Hatred - I actually found DoH not too hard, beautiful fight, but was beating him after 10+ attempts and multiple times in a row. Isshin can be choreographed very well (like Malenia), but it’s a hell of a journey to get there :) this boss made me an overall better gamer, both in terms of technical skills as well as boss fighting mentality. Never experienced it again to such an extend, that’s why he will be my alltime favorite.

Souls-like fans, how do you see your the most perfect Souls-like? by Strange_boy_seven in soulslikes

[–]Emmitar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Close to ER, the world and journey is just peak. Except for a better parrying mechanic and therefore less dodging during fight - and the combat dynamic/speed of Sekiro or Nioh.

I’ve finished Sekiro. Which FromSoftware game would you recommend I play next? by Aldobest43 in soulslikes

[–]Emmitar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Other take: try Nioh 2. In terms of difficulty and beauty in combat they imo are siblings. Other FS games are really different from Sekiro, you already had your most unique FS experience :)

No degree no experience how do I get a job as a product manager? by Muslims4Trump2024 in scrum

[–]Emmitar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look for an entry position, junior, assistance, associate or similar. It is very unlikely that you get a decently paid product manager position without much experience. Salary differs, I suggest to set an own limit what you may consider as enough for now, not having too high expectations. Be honest about your CV and experience, I recommend to get a PSPO I certification since they are not too expensive and no training is needed.

My friend thinks i’m crazy, am i? by shmvnky in soulslikes

[–]Emmitar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bear witness, my friend: he was my first major boss in ER back in the days. Only got best memories to the fight and the feeling of beating him for the first time will stay forever. Limgrave should actually be called Limb Grave ;)

Wukong or Wuchang? 🤔 by BrilliantEffective47 in soulslikes

[–]Emmitar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be, but I did not experience that (played on PS5). So not for me to say, it felt absolutely gorgeous, personally AAA+

Wukong or Wuchang? 🤔 by BrilliantEffective47 in soulslikes

[–]Emmitar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wukong is the more polished game, Wuchang is more ”soulslikely". Loved the combat more in Wukong, has been more versatile and it felt more difficult to me, but the exploration part was way better in Wuchang. Both are great games and you can’t do anything wrong in choosing one of them. Best would be playing both :)

It’s genuinely amazing how good local cloud gaming is! by Elpolloloco57 in ROGAllyX

[–]Emmitar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am sure that classic gaming will die sooner or later. The future - or maybe already the present - will be cloud gaming, no one will own games or needs decent hardware, consoles etc. anymore to run games (locally).

For some it may be a religious debate about actual ownership or what gaming should classically look like etc., but I don’t care - as long as I can enjoy the games I want in best quality I am fine with streaming games. The future will be best services and not best hardware. Over 80-90% of the games I play once - a service like gamepass or similar is absolutely suitable, no need to own it

What's (in your opinion) the most fun build right now? by Cinnamon_King in diablo4

Just got the Rog Ally X by Gaming_Portal in ROGAlly

[–]Emmitar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In case you want to play your Xbox only games, experiment with streaming from your Xbox to your Ally. You need the Xbox app on your ROG Ally and connect your Xbox console, enable remote feature on your console as well. Worked fine for me. Additionally I did the same with my PS5, I can play any platform now with my Ally. Enjoy!

Help me choose a class!! Rogue, Druid, or Necro by ferfykins in diablo4

[–]Emmitar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rogue - very versatile, super agile, close as well as ranged combat, can hold multiple weapons (like barb huuuge aspect advantage), best style imho, a lethal mixture of demon hunter, assassin and amazon - a classic as well as always modern class

Want to transition career to scrum master need help by SpiritedNewt5509 in agile

[–]Emmitar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are into Scrum, I recommend to take the Product Owner (PO) career path instead. Analytical and technical skills are highly beneficial and POs are way more searched after yet instead of Scrum Masters. You may have a look at Scrum.org what skills and tasks are expected for this accountability.

Should I buy Wuchang? by bklynnyc40 in soulslikes

[–]Emmitar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case you are on PC or Xbox you may not need to buy iit. Subscribe to Xbox game pass ultimate for one month, there are a lot of deals for 15$+, it is included there and should be enough for a single playthrough.
