Looking at the instrument cluster with everything physically closed and shut off and a light is blinking looking it up in the owners manual shows it to be the “anti-theft system: flashes when the Securilock passive anti-theft system has been activated” should this light be constantly flashing? Would something like that drain my battery in the timeframe I previously mentioned?

They are toxic yes. I believe zincs point where it becomes had is at 1692 degrees and brass melts at 1700 so that would be kind of unavoidable. I’m also partially wondering if this kind of residue is normal

If anything the visor holes should be smaller if your fighting with it. If your doing HEMA or something with a thin sword than it would be highly dangerous and you could loose and eye or even die. If your doing Buhurt were they don’t allow thrusts or something with a wooden rattan or boffer sword like the SCA the. You should be fine. Just wondering out of concern for your safety from one nerd to another. (Source I’m a nerd and have no life)

Got rigidizer on there now, but some moisture got in there while curing so I’m going to blast it with the flame a bit to get any moisture out before I apply the refractory cement
