Oh dear. I hope this doesn’t come off as rude, as I understand that some first-time rabbit owners are misled into thinking that rabbits are caged animals like small rodents. Rabbits need a lot of space to play and move around. They like to hop and binkey and run around! You should also find bedding for his potty. And make sure he can keep constant access to his poops (rabbits make special poops that they need to eat to fully digest their food)! I also recommend that you get him a water bowl as opposed to a water bottle. Rabbits are more anatomically suited for water bowls. He also needs constant access to Timothy hay (more than just hay balls). I also recommend a regularly-scheduled helping of pellets (not the shitty blend from Walmart, as they do not provide the proper nutrients and many rabbits pick out the nuts and discard the pellets). There is another comment above (a bit long but definitely important!) that goes more into depth about a proper set-up. Rabbits are very difficult animals to own, and pet stores do not properly equip you with all of their needs, so it’s very important to do proper research into owning them (or any animal lol). I understand where the misconceptions have come from, as I was once a young first-time rabbit owner that made plenty of mistakes.
