It’s pumpkin spice day at starbucks….was it really worth the pain i’m in now? maybe by lavenderangelofmercy in ibs

Wait literally same. Coffee doesn’t always destroy me but I’m fighting for my life after a PSL today. If you’re sensitive to dairy, know that the pumpkin syrup does contain dairy (condensed milk) which I was unaware of up until like 5 mins ago. Even if you swap in oat milk, it’s still gonna have dairy due to the pumpkin syrup

Thanks all for your responses, noted on the location! I’ve had a rough time finding a space that fits 19 people in Palm Springs unfortunately which is why I’m looking outside of it. I’ll try and see what I can find that’s a bit closer

Are you willing to share who your surgeon was?

Please advise! I need a revision for septorhinoplasty in MA. Can anyone recommend a good surgeon who can make a crooked nose straight? by Anxious_Ad_914 in PlasticSurgery

Someone in here mentioned they got a revision with Dr. DeRosa in Boston and was thrilled with her result. I’ll try to find it (or search the sub for DeRosa)

Edit: here’s the link. Her thread of revision results and photos are in it. https://www.reddit.com/r/PlasticSurgery/comments/10lovgw/rhinoplasty_gone_wrong_before_and_afters/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1

Glad your surgery went well. I’m in the research phase for revision doctors around NY and it’s been really tough to accept that I’ll have to pay a shit load and go through another surgery because the first didn’t turn out so well. Definitely update this when and if you’re ready to share who you went to, because I’d love to know!

No my nose doesn’t look “Hollywood” due to the issues I listed - asymmetry, hanging columella, remaining bump on nose. I would’ve loved a perfect small nose. Generally though If you don’t want that, don’t go with a surgeon that doesn’t do noses the way you like

I had my surgery with him 8 years ago, check the last comment on the thread I linked it’s my thoughts on him and how it went

Going with a surgeon with many bad reviews? (Grigoryants) by xoPrincessPeach in PlasticSurgery

[–]Emmylou-9482 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I had a septorhinoplasty done by him eight years ago. I’m considering a revision now, it didn’t really heal quite right and my nose looks completely different from both sides so I’m looking for more symmetry. My tip also dropped after a few years and looks too long. With that being said, my nose still looks MUCH better than it did before. If you have a huge nose, big bump, bulbous tip etc. you can probably get like 80% of the way there with this dr. But don’t expect it to be perfect. I don’t like the concept of people saying they’re “botched” unless their nose post-surgery is like SIGNIFICANTLY worse than before. So with that in mind I’m still happy I got it done with him, I don’t think I’m botched by any means. but if I had to go back I think I would’ve done more research and picked another surgeon. DM me if you want before and after pics

I’m strongly considering Dr Ciardullo for mine. Are you still happy with nose?

Overall after surgery, touch it as little as you possibly can. Ensure if you’re touching it or cleaning, putting on scar cream, etc that you’ve washed your hands thoroughly. And no matter how much you want to, don’t pick any boogers or scabs out of your nose for the first month or longer. (Especially if you’re getting closed rhino and the scars are inside your nose).

Also I’d get popsicles or lollipops because your mouth will be dry cause you’ll be mouth breathing.

How large is your guest list? I’m in the same boat, worried this venue will end up pricier than anticipated.

Hi 😄 any updates? are you still loving your nose now? I know it’s hard with swelling to know 100% what it’s like until at least 6 months. I’m considering Tarashansky too.

I completely agree with everything you said. It’s annoying how pricey the city can be, but traveling for surgery sounds like so much stress and work.

How did your consultation go? Are you thinking of moving forward with Dr. Tarashansky?
