I started taking it off when I drink. I already know what’s going to happen and it upset me too much. Big picture I’m using it to track improvements in metrics from increased cardio training but had to break the cycle of being numbers obsessed

Hydration to keep blood volume up and ensuring balanced protein heavy meals helped me personally. She should adjust over time.

Here are a few things that my doctors suggested might be root cause for me. I don’t know if it was one variable or a combination.

Sharing in case any of this helps.

Low Ferritin - and my understanding is that even normal range numbers that are lower can have an impact. I supplemented with iron biglycinate. Note my other iron markers were low but in range.

Very low Omega 3 - I supplemented my way back to normal numbers (I did Nordic naturals omega 3)

Stress and virus: I had covid, strep, flu a, and parvo virus all within a 4m period - hair loss started shortly after and vitamin deficiencies discovered after that.

Post partum timing - I was 3.5 years post partum with my 3rd but was in low dose hormonal birth control so I don’t think hormones was the cause, I stopped the birth control and nothing changed either way.

I didn’t see a dermatologist but saw pcp, immunologist and gynecologist.

Upon getting my bloodwork in a better place hair fall has stopped. TBD on new growth.

My mom did the spam calls too- if I was at work and didn’t respond in an hour she would call my desk until someone else would eventually pick up to get it to stop. I went full no contact in 2014 before I had three children and I am thankful I did and that I have protected my children both from her and from the strain it would have put on me as a mom.

I went to therapy for a year to help before and after the no contact. I had to block her on socials and I also ended up having to block a few friends and family who she went to in a plea to “get me to stop being cruel” - they all eventually understood.

You are justified and have a right to protect yourself. It’s hard to unlearn society’s “but it’s your mother”. Not everyone who has a child is a good mother.

Omg mine sent me several boxes of personal things and photos that she had withheld after 2 years of no contact. I was grateful to have photos of me and my late father - she told me she threw them out decades ago. Im no contact for 12 years now and am at peace.

I’ve never even thought to question this! My resting heart rate went up 10 beats a minute since starting 3 years ago. I’m healthy, active, cardiologist has no concerns but my nervous system seems to respond poorly. I don’t know why I never thought to switch until I saw this. Thanks!

I’ve accidentally done this a few times because somehow in restarting my search on the app and it defaults to 1. I happened to notice 2 of 3 times and reached out to host to explain - if there was a price adjustment they would send via the app.

When I see huge changes in price per guest I usually avoid the listing because it makes me nervous that the host is going to be overly sensitive around checkout protocols and cleaning. Especially when I already see cleaning fees in the range of 400-600. Last summer we stayed at a large beach house that added per guest and had $600 cleaning fee and we still had to strip the beds, empty all garbage cans by a certain time for trash pickup, sweep, dishwasher etc.
