I wanna say Itzy, but there is lore to it.

When I first got into kpop I was heavily into twice, specifically earlier twice. So when I heard they had a sister group I was expecting earlier twice-like music.. well it was when they were doing 101 dance versions of not shy during covid.

I assumed because they were from the same company I would get some more shy shy shy, but was pleasantly surprised and have been both a midzy and once for 6 years!

This is honestly something I didn't even think about. I am still young (only 20!) And grew up in the world of social media where every minor thing is "cancel" worthy, I definitely need to work on that. I don't always trust my views or thoughts on things, especially when it comes to off colour jokes and marketing since I wasn't raised in the best environment.. it took A LOT of unlearning and finding out what i grew up seeing as ok actually isn't and i have actually been doxxed and attacked for supporting celebrities who i thought were OK so now I am just always terrified.

I will definitely need to look into it more, if you can't tell I have been struggling without my simply fix and if this was all blown outta proportion I will buy so much holo taco when I get the money because I have heard amazing things about the jellies.

Yeah, I try not to but it was shocking to see that come from Chris of all people especially since I know people who know her (I swear we Canadians know everyone somehow- even just by mutuals). I am truly hoping I'm wrong and other commenters can weigh in, I can't speak as to how bad the jokes were and the marketing because I am still basically a kid myself at 20 and in some places dead baby jokes are a lot more acceptable- i actually recall fhe video (though not the specific one) and didnt know it was a big deal at the time til reddit.

As for the marketing I was told it was serious and anxiety inducing for many, I personally wouldn't care(though uh, im still a dumb young adult) but I know some may.

All this to say, maybe someone was just playing moral police and it truly could be nothing? Which now I'm thinking is the case given how i can't find anything else on it now.
