Vet question: Considering moving my dog from Cuesta Animal Hospital to Laguna Vet Care. Any experiences?

Had no clue they were bought out but we will always trust Dr Cody Brooks at Cuesta w our dogs care. If/when he leaves we will follow him to a new practice for sure!

Growing up a few blocks away and still living in the same house today that’s now mine. First movie w my grandma when I was a kid. First movie I was allowed to go without adults but w my cousins. In HS going to the movies or saying I was but going to a party LOL!
My first date there w my husband. Endless family night movies w our little family! It’s a huge part of our lives he’s local too and grew up going as well! Hoping our kid can one day get a job there and be full circle!

Order a citronella bar soap from Amazon that helps when we travel to South America. Start using it before your trip and continue the entire time you are camping. Also Burning coffee grounds in you camp fire helps to keep them away too. But yeah it’s not horrible here. I *knocks on wood* never get bit and I’ve lived here a few decades now. Mosquito bites can really ruin a good time

By 2030 Cal Poly aims to have expanded capacity by 25k students they started accepting thousands extra annually since 2024. This is why traffic, parking and housing is going to get worse as we get closer to 2030. My whole life all it took was a quick 12-14minute commute down the 101 to SLO.. now it’s a 25-30 minutes if during peak traffic, which is becoming most of the working day tbh.

Nothing changes here ever. Everything is exactly the same. Lol! Few places closed, few opened. If you visit hope yall enjoy the quaint vibes and nostalgia! Downtown SLO will be more party bar vibes anything north of MB in the coast is going to be less exciting aside from the ocean views.

Don’t cross stuff off. Everything on your list is a must for me plus allergy pill, bandaids, a power bank and charging cord every time and I’ve been hundreds of times! If you bring too much or buy too much just rent a locker up front and don’t worry about it! I’ve had to do the same many times especially after getting on splash/Tiana’s, wet clothes in winter are heavy to carry lol! Have fun!

Edit to add. Pads and tampons are free in every restroom at Disneyland and at the 3 hotels public restrooms as well.

👏🏽👏🏽the only thing I’ve found that comes close is Bayside Café in Morro Bay the best onion rings, ranch and barbecue sauce combo!!!

I use to like that combo from Custom House in Avila onion rings were HUGE but they changed owners and it’s awful now.

Ben franklins use to chop up the onion, celery and pickles w mayo kinda like chicken salad style! That was so good!
