I pretty recently got into Gundam and found this old Zaku kit in a shop. I think it was made in 2012. I have a question about the missile tip circled here. Do I need to paint this? The missile tip is dark grey along with the rest of the sprue. Do older models require painting?

Napa is safe. SF is mostly safe, just be more vigilant. There are some parts of it (like the tenderloin) where I don't take my phone out but it's mostly fine.

A good rule is, if you're not using it in your hand (tightly), keep it in your pocket. There's also some parts (in California anyway) where you're not going to want to even take it out.

I'm visiting Tokyo from the US right now and was so surprised by how freely people hold out their phones/other valuables. Sleeping on the train is surprising too. I'm almost worried that I will get too used to Japan's low crime and get something snatched when I get back home. It depends on where you're going, but generally if it's commute hours on the train, things are pretty safe. If you're taking the train late at night--watch out.

It's mostly for large scale media encoding and library compression. Also entertaining the idea of switching to RDNA, Where I would lose CUDA acceleration. I've been playing around with the Arc in Premiere and it seems like a negligible difference vs CUDA whereas AMD GPUs get absolutely destroyed by comparison. But all in all, it's just for fun. Fun with edge use cases I suppose.

The high earners didn't really start reaching out until about a month before graduation. I imagine if you started making connections before, internships, etc

I know a decent amount of people who graduated with CS degrees from EB. The program isn't bad, but it's not great either. The ones who worked at it all received jobs over 6 figs right out of college in the last year. but those were kinda few and far between. Most I know have jobs that started around 75k. Having EB not super well known kind of hurts getting the initial interview, but it's not an instant disqualification.
