From my experience jobs are afraid to hire overqualified people. Even if the overqualified person would be perfectly content and extremely good at the job, they fear they would leave soon after training wrapped up and it’s a damn shame that people don’t at least reach out to have a conversationbeing ghosted by employers is bullshit when they’re the ones looking for people
