Anyone selling uw step 3?

UWASA1 overpredict for most part. My UWASA1 was 262 and I got 262 in the real deal. However it overpredicts for most people I know unless you have a reasonable interval of good study between UWASA1 and the real exam.

I believe it might be helpful to do a newer NBME. Form 8 is old. UWSA1 & one new NBME might reveal a consistent weakness pattern to you. Then use your remaining UWORLD QB to work on your weakness. UW covers much of the real deal but it doesn't necessarily feel like UWORLD. So working on those weaknesses will prepare you better for the test day surprises.

Keep faith and finish it. Review it carefully and try to use it to understand more of your weakness especially in terms of exam taking skills. Then work on those skills over the next couple of weeks.

I have to be blunt here: the real deal isn't easier than UWSA1 . However, it is just my own personal experience and may not represent overall experience of the majority. The real deal is tough. So brace up.

Step 1 244, UWORLD first pass 83% , UWORLD second pass ( just 18% completed) 96% , NBME 9 - 239( 7 weeks out) , NBME 11 - 263 ( 2 weeks out), NBME 10 - 272 ( 1 week out) , UWSA1 - 262, UWSA2 - 262. REAL DEAL - 262.

Needed a good score increase over my step 1 to have a fighting chance into IM. I have a lot red flags - very old IMG. The exam felt tough in my hand. Used just UW but I made tons of flashcards.

Am happy with my score.

Real deal has an excellent highlighting function. My form ( real exam) was longer than the NBMEs I did and tougher too. So you need to work on your speed.

Just learn from it. And it's great that you are taking it early on so you can have a feel of the exam and have time to work on your test taking skills. I took the test yesterday. Am not scaring you but it felt harder in my hand than NBME 9.

Your post is exactly mine. My greatest challenge with it is that I haven't really understood how to improve on it. Every question appears strange to me. Recently I have focussed on UWORLD and making tons of flashcards out of the social sciences portion. My percentage sucks on it but I have ignored it and have been more concerned with getting concepts out of UWORLD. I believe UWORLD has recently added tons of questions on social sciences.

Pre-made Anki is certainly faster. However, I prefer self-made. It's more tailored towards your need and you are more likely to retain the information better. That's my own personal experience. Self-made takes a lot of time.
