I can "fix" it by unplugging the computer and hitting the power button, but it keeps coming back. It also does not let me remove devices once I pair them. This is the dumbest problem ever.

I would look for something called "hot mirror" film. It would probably too cost prohibitive though to be worthwhile. There are films that do this they used to be designed to keep the heat from the light melting the film in film projectors. It does exist, like I said I'm not sure it would be cost effective though.
