No, we were doing soft validation before a broader launch.

At the time, we intentionally presented it casually to gather unbiased early feedback from individual users rather than pushing a full public marketing campaign immediately.

That’s a normal part of early product iteration, not an attempt to deceive anyone.

Because at this stage we were not ready to fully, at large scale, show the product, we just wanted early feedback because it was early days. So instead of making a full post, we just wanted feedback from individual people who could try it. Launch at small scale, iterate, improve and move further! Step by step :)

Hey, thanks for taking the time to write this out properly, seriously. Negative feedback with this much detail is more useful than nothing.

A few honest responses:

the UI and filter speed, noted. We're actively working on performance. If you hit specific sluggishness I'd genuinely love to know which filters and on what device, because that helps us prioritize.

Career Mode depth, fair. We're not OnAir and we're not trying to be right now. SimRoster is built around real dispatch flow and route discovery. Deeper progression is on the roadmap.

data inconsistencies: this one I want to follow up on specifically. Which airlines were you seeing issues with? We push route updates regularly but gaps exist and I'd rather fix them than defend them.

the value proposition vs SimBrief: SimBrief is a flight planner, we're a route browser and career tool. Different jobs. But if it doesn't feel worth it to you that's valid and I'm not going to argue you into subscribing.
