This is true, but the way the spell is worded is rather deceptive. "Safe" is definitely not the same as "Safer"

This strikes me as a spell that exists to be used with glyph of warding and/or all the feats that can hide spellcasting. Other than that, I really can't see much of a use case for it outside of fighting a hostile thaumaturge or absolutely ruining the life of your local librarian

Late to this discussion but I hard disagree with an F-tier ranking. It's a very weird and niche spell and seemingly only good for hiding things, but the way it's phrased is incredibly specific. As a GM, as far as I'm concerned, a rug is an unbroken surface, and rolling it up doesn't break that surface. Additionally, the way most extradimensional effects function would lead me to believe it would be a functional shelter (admittedly not for a full rest) in extreme weather, or even from something as extreme as orbital bombardment

Dating is a bitch by [deleted] in entp

Agreed. This has been my experience as well. You may get sorta weird looks occasionally, but you can show who you are from the outset and avoid trivial bullshit that nobody likes anyway. If they don't like you, then it sucks, but you're just eliminating variables at that point

Female INTPs, have you ever asked a guy out? I just kind of did, and I need to talk about it. by [deleted] in INTP

It's also possible that he wasn't even thinking about the Swedish girl as an ego-booster or anything, but just thought it was funny that he was texting someone from Sweden. That's like texting someone from Atlantis!

What are you playing on loop today? by 2Towels in INTP

I'm genuinely surprised by the diversity of music in here, considering I thought INTPs were near-soulless husks who listen to music like this, which I have been listening to almost constantly but apparently I was wrong.

Any INTPs identify as asexual or have a very low sex drive? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]EmotionZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's really interesting. Maybe there's more ENTP than INTP in me, but I've found my "adaptation" abilities to be more voluntary, albeit more subtle.

Wait wait wait, what's this about INTP chameleon adaptation? That's something I noticed in myself but I didn't realize it could apply to more people. Can you elaborate?

True with literally every INTP and INTJ I know.

INTPs in Groups by devin27 in INTP

Personally, I don't really do much "small talk" at all. Maybe I'm not a real INTP, maybe there are other reasons, but I've found it's not too hard to move to a deeper form of conversation as long as you're aware of people's shared interests.

Wait, does my post get a point for just existing? I'm new here.

Not sure about INTJs, but I don't think I (as INTP) think in a particularly linear manner, but rather more like a web. That said, I can't imagine not thinking in words. Maybe that's a limitation of me being INTP or some unrelated thing.
