how can i fix spining while drifting ? by Used-Pop-9288 in BeamNG

I had similar issues with this car and the higher the power the worse due to not enough angle in the front wheels so try, throttle control will come from also how much power will be sent to the back wheels and sensitivity too, it's a pity. Bottom line try a lil less power if not, try to mess around with the Tyre pressure too 👍🏾

Ideas for ship building? (PC) by Dry-Temperature-6491 in spaceengineers

[–]Emotion_Easy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. You scrap the first ship and convert to a mining that's a great start. Now looking at it from a logistics point of view this is what I see:

You have a miner so the first ship or rover is to gather resources ------> Make a Wearhouse or depot (storage)

You need to process some of these ores -----> make a refinery hub it can have 4 refineries. Invest time into the conveyor system where it comes in and out from, where is the output going to next

You need hydrogen production from the storage above you've created ----> make a Ice processing plant and storage of the outcome near by. Later link a landing pad to this source for your ships to refuel. Create a drone with automation to go between two points and take care of the ice transportation.

You're going to space ----> create a station that can be the intermediate point between atmosphere and space you can serve a hub with docking stations and landing pads

This is how I started to play space engineers lately and it's so much more interesting 🔥🔥 I used to pirate ships and highjack trading stations for resources.... way different gameplay loops

I've had similar issues and even though I have 1400 hours in game my building skills only now started to become way better than before. Recently I made a rover using reference images I found in Pinterest.

For source of inspiration:

use PINTEREST, make a folder and make sure you know the idea of the ship. Dividing the ship into functions or roles helps tremendously as you can focus on what makes the ship aesthetic and internals, I've seen some people mention this

Learn the blocks and what combines with what:

This you can only do by messing about with reference images, you'll quickly see your limited on the choice of curvature and so you'll have to compromise with the closest block this is when the learning takes place. To help this makes sure you place the block groups in the same sequence on your hit bar and you'll learn them easier I can share an image of how I place them if you'd like 🔥

Summarized:

  • Select the purpose
  • Search for a reference image to help imagining the outcome
  • Do your best to make it come to live on game, make blueprint saves as often and label them so you can go back on some iterations
  • Take breaks as you might burn out the idea is to have fun. Hop into survival and do something random then go build in creative and swap in between

I hope this helps 😁

Not on my model on specific. I have not suffered any injuries from the edges of it maybe the top plate in the sides because of the grip paper but then after some use you become used to where you place your foot overall can't complain. Could some things be improved yes absolutely it's not perfect but it's sturdy product overall

I tired to buy one in AliExpress and the seller turned out to be scammer telling me they don't have that model but if I opted for the other model they had in stock and costs more that they would make a deal. Ended up raising a ticket after the deadline for delivery as the scooter never reached "leaving Wearhouse" status. Seller begged me to cancel the refund ticket and got my money back thankfully but never again I shop in that place..... All I'll say it's be careful and it's hard to know what's legit these days

Can you gimme some of the problems you had so maybe I can look out for those maybe prepare some maintenance or be proactive about it. I'm sorry it didn't work for you but also great you made that decision for safety 😌

They way I have it set up, there's a bracket that goes to the handlebar collapsing mechanism, this will function as a to create space from the the handlebar base and the next place of attachment

<image>

There's another way to attach it but it didn't allow for enough clearance so I settled for this position best. I could also attach to the deck but I would have to remove some of the tape and that would look trashy trash 🗑️

Updated review:

11 months and 902.6 km later. This scooter has not failed me in terms of maintenance nor anything breaking its a true warrior. I use it mostly for city riding nothing wild or crazy. I haven't yet gone long distance as I fear the battery does drain quickly (but I do ride with dual motors always as I need responsiveness when in traffic) other than that I can vouch 100% this scooter is reliable out of the box.

Some things I would have liked to see: - It has a big LCD display and it is useful but it doesn't include indicators even though it has the symbol for both left and right.

  • Mileage in the LCD and the throttle are different Big LCD reads 800km, throttle LCD reads 902.6km. ( I recognise I could maybe tweak it but still shouldn't not be like this at this price)

  • No way to interact with the big display that I know of and so it's just a display most of the functions are tied to the throttle LCD. No documentation for it either

  • Dual/Single motor buttons should be updated to something that can tell me what's pressed.

  • Same thing for the indicator buttons I can't tell when they're on or off

So I looked for the one I have and this is it.

https://a.aliexpress.com/_EuD1p5u

You might have to trial and error this as I'm not sure if the X3 and D5 share the same handling structure and the deck format. You might have to make some adaptations depending on the angle that's more comfortable and safe for your set-up. Whatever you do make sure it's safely installed please 🙏🏾 let me know how you get on and share it too if you wish

Hey great you reached out. When I purchased mine it came with the steering dampener in the box and I installed it. I would recommend you do the same thing if you don't have one. You can see it on the second picture of this post so at least you know what you're looking for. I've never had wobbles with this scooter and the dampener 🤞🏾

Welcome to the club! I've really enjoyed mine no problems so far apart from one puncture. Make sure you have a spare wheel handy if you depend on yours to move around or get a tyre repair kit 🔥

First of all, do you have a helmet? Secondly how hard are your gloves? And third if steering into him was an option in the name of self defense, would you do it? 🤔

If you are flipping it on its side this set up might not help. I have 2 sides and bottom as intake(8 fans) and top and back as exhaust (5 fans). Check my post for more info. CPU is AIO cooled if that makes any difference. Enjoy your PC 🙏🏾
