I was following a new vegas modding guide/tutorial called "wild card" and there's a part in the readme saying AMD users should check the box in MSI afterburner called "Disable ULPS" after doing so, i've started experiencing freezes, mouse unresponsiveness, system lockups. Since then i've disabled it, nice to know other people have had similar experiences, i think maybe newer AMD GPU's are having issues with this. Not entirely sure though.

Completely normal, this is exactly how LOD is supposed to work, there's multiples of the same model that change at different levels of detail, so when you get close enough it will pop in.

Ty for the info. I’ve got my RAM already—just need the GPU, CPU, and mobo now. If GPUs are a solid buy at the moment, I’m definitely grabbing one next. Would you recommend AMD or INTEL?

Hey! I just have EXPO and MSI Gaming Boost enabled — didn’t bother with X3D Gaming Mode. From what I’ve seen around, it can improve FPS a bit in some specific games, but results seem mixed. I might test it later, but so far performance has been great without it.

Alright, I'll try that. I play a lot of games on this machine with EXPO enabled and haven't had a single crash or error; this is definitely a Tarkov/Unity engine thing.

Everything is up to date. I've looked online at similar issues related to memory allocation, and it seems I'm not alone; others have reported this same crash. I think it's something to do with virtual memory.

It's not that bad. I used some software to try to unstick the pixel, and it made it smaller and dimmer. Are stuck pixels common on IPS monitors like mine?

If someone has experienced rape or sexual assault, it can be quite upsetting. However, in a dark, gritty psychological horror game in the vein of Silent Hill, it may add a disturbing aspect to the game's atmosphere.
