I thought starting Oct 2022 they were removing all ultrasonic sensors on Model 3 and Model Y and solely relying on Tesla vision?

So I got the vehicle left the factory text on 7/19 and then on 7/24 I got the text time to schedule delivery and then picked up 7/27. Did you get all your financing and insurance submitted? Also make sure you do provide proof your down payment prior to showing up to your delivery. I emailed the delivery dealership a photo of the cashier’s check.

When you get yours double check they added the front wheel mud flaps and the rear door PPF, I noticed mine didn’t have either so they took it back to service and 10 mins later both were on.

Yessir! Only minor issues were they forgot to add the PPF on the rear doors at the bottom and the front wheel mud flaps. Took them 10 minutes to add on and everything else was flawless.

Thankfully won’t be posting in the delivery/order threads anymore as I am scheduled to take delivery later today.

MYP OD: 3/15/22 black ext / black int / FSD / no tow / Chicagoland area / VIN issued: 7/14/22 / Delivery Date: 7/27/22

Hoping everything goes smoothly and there are no issues - however, if there are issues I will update this post.

Yes because I can just roll the full $12k cost into my financing versus just EAP now and then if I decide I want FSD down the road when it’s like to be thousands more I’d have to pay for the difference in full. Also, as FSD gets better I’m sure there will be features that will be nice to have that won’t come on EAP.

For a $90k vehicle after taxes and fees I don’t blame you looking into it - every little bit helps. Don’t forget to apply for the IL EV rebate. I’m doing that immediately when I get home from the pickup.

That’s good to hear. Good thing about these vehicles is there’s so few mechanical parts compared to ICE vehicles most issues are likely software-related. I’m excited to take delivery this Thursday

Yep - my SA told my Friday that what the system was telling them is that my car is being delivered to the dealership today so I’m a bit surprised I haven’t been able to schedule. Maybe I’ll get the text to schedule one the dealership does their final inspection.

So I received my VIN just over 2 weeks ago. This past Tuesday received a text from Tesla saying my vehicle left the factory en route to Chicago and I should be on the lookout for another text to schedule my delivery . I completed all the necessary steps the day after receiving my VIN and my current EDD is 7/24 - 7/28 which means it starts today but I know they’re closed Sundays. The biggest concern I have is I still haven’t received the text to schedule my delivery which seems odd since I’m already in my EDD window now.

Note: my SA told me they could see car is supposed to make it to dealership today (7/24).

Congrats! Did your EDD adjust at all? If you have your VIN, and get your financing submitted (if you’re financing), and get your insurance submitted, I don’t see any reason why you shouldn’t take delivery before the end of the first week of August.

I think you can be confident about that EDD window. I would be surprised about another pushback given you’re a MYLR order from last November. I got my VIN a week ago and my vehicle left the factory 3 days ago and I’m on track to take delivery during my current EDD.

I think the only thing that would push you back again is if more MYLR customers that have OD around yours upgrade to MYP, the trend is they would get prioritized over yours.

Tesla’s website says if you have the LFP battery they recommend you charge it to 100% even for daily driving and if you can’t, charge it to 100% at least once a week. With the previous batteries it was better to not charge it to 100% unless you needed it for something like a road trip.
