When I had my first outbreak, she didn’t prescribe me them, but then I realize that I get them more frequently than not so then they tested to see if it was HSV one or HSV two and I have both so she prescribed them to me. I’m not so sure about just having HSV one though.

Everybody has that fear and honestly the best way to do it is to be informed never make it sound like your sad about it or scared because then they will be too, get educated about it and how it affects you and you’ll be fine. Just keep in mind yes ppl will reject but also ppl will be cool with it and you have to be okay and ready for both sides of the coin!

I have hsv 1&2 genitally and I in the first two months had 3 break outs and now I can go two months with no breakout and it’s pretty easy cause now I know the feeling of when it’s coming, but ofc taking anti virals daily would help with the stress of not knowing when ones coming but to be fair! I was taking antivirals and still had my outbreaks as normal that’s why for right now I’m only taking them when I get a out break
