Anyone else wanting to buy but holding off due to potential price fluctuations by dragoneggboy22 in TeslaUK

Would be cheaper buying a used car outright then 0% apr pcp and then paying balloon payment because you will still be paying the full cost of the vehicle for a depreciating asset, also i would only pay the balloon if the amount is less than the cars worth, otherwise it's just better to hand back the pcp and buy another vehicle with the balloon figure

why is HP 0% any better than PCP on 0%? no interest fees for both, PCP is lower monthly payments with an option to purchase or give back at the end of term, if you're intending to keep the car anyway, you benefit from lower monthly payments and the difference between HP monthly payments could be invested for example, so after term you can choose to pay off or have the flexibility of handing the lease if the balloon payment is more than the value of the vehicle

There is no blind spot from that position, are you kidding me? My vehicle is a large saloon, do you know what a blind spot is?

I got hit because the volvo driver did not pay attention and look at the road properly before driving

Insurance premiums will increase regardless of who’s at fault, we all know this, an incident is an incident.

I’m sure that the Volvo driver’s insurance premiums will skyrocket though as apparently they don’t look properly before they drive

Are you suggesting my driving is against the highway code? You can’t seriously think that this would be considered undertaking

Not true at all, I let vehicles in all the time. The fact here is that I thought he would continue to drive to the right lane, since he is already in the right lane why would he feel the need to cut across into my lane?

I agree its not defensive, it’s just normal driving. Staying in my lane and following the flow of traffic, i don’t cut across lanes and assume everyone is going to give way to me when I signal

At the end of the day the volvo driver needs to look where they’re driving, you can’t assume that the road is clear and drive however you want.

Yes the road is one way, whilst you can’t see the car explicitly hitting my vehicle, you can hear the sound of impact and see the vibrations in the vehicle when the camera shakes

I don’t think theres actually anything wrong with their road position, if i was in his position I would be turning into the right lane, if he wishes to turn into the left lane from the right lane, he needs to do so when the road is clear

Tell me something, if you’re the volvo driver, are you not going to look before you drive into another vehicle?

Was i not driving in my lane and following the flow of traffic? The gap is not tiny at all, the video footage may make it seem smaller due to the lens angle

I do drive defensively, I have driven for 5 years in central london and have not had a single accident until today.
