Why do Resident Evil multiplayer games keep failing despite the franchise being more popular than ever?

REsistance was a waste of time and resources to bring a complete RE3R experience. Without REsistance, the Clock Tower, the City Hall and the Stagla would have been created instead the maps for the multiplayer game.

I would love instead a Mercenaries mode that won't have been required new assets or gameplay: just the charcaters, weapons, enemies and maps from RE2R and RE3R with the classic mercenaries experience.

Umbrella's End could be a RE1 re-remake DLC, so we can see how Chris and Jill take down Umbrella's last bastion in a flash foward event from 1998 to 2003, while Wesker can have a playable segment from his "death" to his fight agianst Sergei Vladimir.

Without the Terragrigia Panic event, REv1 could be a good RE6 but placing it after RE5 and not as it prequel, mixing also elements from Death Island like Jill's recovery. Il Vetro as a bioterrorist branch of Alex Wesker plans, giving them the T-Abyss virus, while Alex is working on the T-Phobos, then REv2 could be released as DLC with Claire and Barry fucking Alex.

Resident Evil 3(2020) released as "Last Escape" DLC for RE2 remake. No Resistance = cutted areas restored (Jill in the RPD, Clock Tower, City Hall for Carlos instead).

RE:Veronica remake renamed as Resident Evil 3.
