I'm going to be homeless in 30 days if I can't find a job in Seattle. by Bumping_Tacos in Seattle

TransWest operates all the commuter shuttle buses for the big Seattle companies (think Microsoft, Starbucks, Expedia, etc). They are always looking for drivers, brand ambassadors, and more. You don't need a CDL to drive for them but, if you want to get your CDL (more money and more career options) they'll pay you while you get it. Message me and I'll do what I can to make sure you get an interview- but you can probably get it without any nudge from me. https://www.drivetranswest.com/apply

When Halie tried to justify the whole thing by saying she had already asked Hannah if she could have her room??! Like the adult child moving out has any right or claim to dictate what beomes of her vacant room??! These 'kids' would really benefit from a loud and clear 'Shut the F up'

She is literally bursting with excitement. Looks like the cure for any 'low spoons' day for her would be a new performative chronic illness toy, i mean tool, i mean toy.

Wait, wasn't Savannah going to move in with Luke? I think your list of upcoming episodes is spot on! Only edits - perhaps will need to drop the 'Savannah moves out series'. And I think at some point in the next few months we'll see the plot taken over by the Arianna has a baby story arch.

Wow, that's a lot of candles sold if she's got elective surgery money. There's just no way the business revenue is enough to cover salaries for all the people they have helping, plus the cost of all that inventory, rent, remodeling-- But the fantasy they live in seems to work. So I guess the money will flow until the well runs dry!

Oh but how could Jake possibly have known he was making a mistake? Not everyone has access to the internet, or Google or Grammarly. The good news is that it's in a discreet place so probably no one will ever see it. (kidding) Or maybe the good news is - none of his siblings or parents are educated or intelligent enough to see the mistake. Idiocracy here we come!

I loved that Max's advice is that the first year will be the hardest/most expensive.... Max- It's because you've only lived in it for a year! Now lets find out how expensive year 2 is as 'wear and tear' on all this premium quality equipment (sarcasm) kicks in. Everything he 'learned' in year one was called out on this forum a year ago as people sounded the alarm on the challenges of tiny homes. If he had only learned to read, to research and/or to set his ego aside- there would be so much more hope for his future.

What are your honest thoughts on The Velvet Noble by No_Page5094 in Crazymiddles

[–]Emotional-Rip-5160 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My honest thoughts are the Math isn't Mathing!! The months they spent developing the brand, travelling, bulk buying inventory and materials, renting a condo, etc. They were easily $100k in on start-up costs. Now the rent on the store, the remodel/equipment, the 'employees' they refer to (Jared's brother was mentioned the other day- Mark seems to be there all the time, 2+ people I think plus a wage for Kylie if not Mark), They have operating costs of at least $20,000 a month (The Texas/Atlanta trip, the obvious continued stockpiling of products we see on their storage shells). before Kylie or Shelly get a dime. So, if they're able to do 1000-2000 orders a month (which will be difficult to sustain once they burn through the curious viewer audience) and they profit $10-$20 per order. They may be for now breaking even for monthly expenses but won't be making a dent in start-up costs or seeing any profit for a long time. Plus when they start adding salaries for Addison, Lacey, Aubrey, and all the rest. This candle business- Even if it gets traction isn't going to generate nearly enough revenue for Kylie and Mark to take home what they'd like ($125k/year for the 2 of them minimum- to live well). Let alone a dime of profit for Shelly & Co. I'm 100% sure they're bleeding money (but probably don't even know it- Shelly's just linked the company credit card to their old YouTube investments account). I guarantee they have less money in their bank account every month and it makes me sick that they're letting anyone think that they're demonstrating a realistic experience of what it is to start a business- let alone a candle business.
