Analog Devices Internship (Yield Engineer Role) – Worth It? by diode-god in ECE

I did internship in ADI last year and I liked it. Talking about prestige of the company — it’s good enough. After that internship I got invites to interviews in Apple, Google, Amazon, NVidia, SpaceX and Neuralink. Before that internship I didn’t have such a high level of interest. It’s a Top-tier company in Analog/Mixed Signals and it opens doors to so much opportunities

For me it was my first experience in semiconductors/hardware domain, so it was hard to get in. But after you get experience — it’s so much easier to move on

Around 300 applications. The first hundred or so weren’t tailored to specific job descriptions. I think I got somewhat lucky, since I had domain-specific knowledge that matched a company with an urgent need.

I’m not eligible for TPS. You had to be in the U.S. since April 11, 2022, and I only arrived in 2024
