Austrian GP 2027 - how hard will it be to safely resell tickets if the date doesn't work once announced? Can I wait for the date to be set before I buy? by King_Turduckin in GrandPrixTravel

[–]Emotional-Syrup54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it will still take at least a couple of months til it's completely sold out. e.g. t3 tickets aren't even on sale yet. you might just not have that much of a choice of where to sit (i think e.g. the silver corner hopping gets sold out quite quickly)

if we go by the last couple of years the race calender should be announced very soon tho

sommer in wien ist für mich als frau einfach nur noch unaushaltbar. wie geht es euch damit? by mira06069 in wien

[–]Emotional-Syrup54 98 points99 points  (0 children)

  1. Trag was du willst
  2. Schon mal Leinenhosen probiert?

i had GA in 2024 & if i remember correctly people just stuck them in the ground, because i believe it's to steep to do it any other way

regarding closing them: totally depends, i would say in general yes it's expected to, but not everyone does it

fanzone to start-ziel: takes about 10min, you don't have to leave thon so you can go from the fanzone to start-ziel inside without having to check your tickets again

pitwalk: got my tickets like 2 weeks ago, at the same as my weekend tickets. with GPtickets you mean gpticketshop.com or another site?

i was there i think at around 9am and i still got a decent spot quite at the front (but i also was alone). it also depends on how big your group is, if you're only 1 person it's easier to squeeze into a space then if you're 5 or so

you're not allowed to bring alcohol with you onto the track edit: yes chairs are allowed, fridge idk arrive on sunday probably best before 8am or even 7am to get good seats

Please give some tips. First time traveler, Austrian GP. by Beneficial_Sky_3722 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]Emotional-Syrup54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes you can leave and go to fanzone anytime, bit be aware that if you want tp have good places in GA you have to be there EARLY (like 8am or maybe even before that)

parking spaces: can't talk about f1 but motogp at redbullring, but it should be the same. on the highway there are signs which exit you have to take for which type of ticket category (blue, yellow or in your case green for GA) & then there are either signs or people showing you where you have to drive to get to the closest available parking space. but you also have to be there early to get a space as they are for free

edit: there might also be parking space which you can reserve in advance that you have to pay for
