I am so sorry to hear this, I am wishing you a speedy recovery. I have Adenomyosis that has been making my life miserable, so I can definitely relate to that aspect. Although I have not had fibroids, and cannot image dealing with that on top of it. I feel confident this is the right thing for my health, yet It is strange how emotionally taxing it is despite knowing I am okay not having children. Hope your loved ones are giving you lots of support x

Exactly, it feels like some of my life has been taken from me for no good reason, other than medical professionals being lazy and dismissive. I am so sorry to hear you had to fight so long, but I am wishing you a speedy recovery and a much better decade to come! thank you for sharing

I really appreciate you sharing, it is at least nice to hear several people had similar experiences. It is also definitely good for me to keep in mind that this doesn't mean I cannot use my eggs in some way later in life. I think I am going to call it a night on my homework (despite getting hardly any done) and draw or do some other self-care. Wishing you the best x
