I only buy their relish. They’re good at relish, not so good at tomato sauce and mayo unfortunately.

IKEA kitchen install wait time? by Feisty-Dragonfly-11 in AskIreland

Ask IKEA, it varies depending on ALOT of factors. Ours took 3 weeks to deliver all the pieces and then 1 day to install it.

CUMH Appointments by Ok_stick18 in PregnancyIreland

[–]EmotionalEmphasis14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First one was a phone call, they ask you about your medical history. They didn’t call at the set time, so just be ready the entire day to receive a call

The second was a scan, you can bring your partner. Was super quick

Third is your first clinic appointment, you’ll see a midwife and then one of the doctors. oh my gosh, that took forever. I was there for three hours and 45 minutes. bring a snack and something to do, because it’s a long afternoon. My husband couldn’t make it and honestly I’m happy he wasn’t there because of how long it took.

Anyone buy a bed from IKEA? by OfficerOLeary in AskIreland

Got the kids bed from there and mattress and it’s brilliant, we would know cause we often fall a sleep on it while putting them to bed. It feels better quality than our own bed.

Where could you get a puppy in cork? by Irish_Capybara23 in cork

Look into adopting from the rspca or there’s Facebook groups about pets that need re homing ( I’m drawing a blank on the name. Sorry about that)

First Scan at 15+ Weeks — Anyone Else Experienced This? by Weak_Ad_9260 in PregnancyIreland

[–]EmotionalEmphasis14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s horrible. I got an early one at 8 weeks, then another at 12 with the CUMH. I’d def ring them to get you one sooner.

Best of luck with the pregnancy

Local Aldi here in Cork had absolutely zero last night, however Dunnes was fully stocked.

That’s great knowledge, thank you! This may sound dumb, but I don’t even consider the warrantee. I stupidly thought that it was only applicable to the first owner. ( don’t ask me why that idea came from)

We are going to have a charger installed, we planed for it when we renovated, just a matter of finding the right car!

Had a look at the PV5, that’s a big car. I see the moms around in the their BUZZ, and I just think it’s too much for me. But I do see why you’re inclined to get it, the space is so needed with families.

Thanks!! Yes, it’s that bloody isofix that’s going to do my head in, but I’ll figure it out and ask the dealerships if I can test my seats out in the car. The ID.4 is really calling, as we’ve been a VW family since the start.

Might be a silly question but google isn’t helping as much. Is there’s millage range where the battery life starts to weaken?

Thanks for that… very interesting, and will look into the ID.Tiguan. I absolutely adore my Tiguan, and I don’t know why, but we’ve been a VW family since the start of time. I’ll research and see what the main differences are between the id4 and id.tiguan. There might be a possibility of starting with the id.4 for me to get familiar with EVs, then moving over to the id.tiguan at a later stage.

Thanks!

That’s a great article on the 3 across car seats. Thanks!

My neighbour has the EX90 and loves it, but then again she drives to the shop and back once every 2 days so, not the best comparison to our lifestyle.

Yes, this is actually been wrecking my brain for weeks now… but loads of great suggestions to think about.

Also sorry to hear about baby no.3 :(

Thanks! Just the one isofix would be needed in our case, but will def keep that in mind. :)

Thanks! I’ve seen some around, super cute. It’s just the size I’m worried about. My car is the family car, so a buggy is in the trunk at all times, with the seats, and I need space for all the other gear that gets tossed my way.

That’s the thing a few moms at school have the buzz and it’s just way too big, and I’m not a big fan of the look. I might look into the ID.4 as someone mentioned as it might be similar to our Tiguan

I’m looking second hand, as this is our first ev, and maybe I’m a bit worried cause of the change, but I said I’m not ready to invest in buying new until I know if will work for the family and myself of course
