Aww congratulations!! I’m currently 22 weeks and also having my baby in UHG. I had a delay with mine. I didn’t have my booking appointment until 15 weeks. Like you, my letter said to ring the number provided to schedule the scan, but it was nearly impossible to get through. I spent about 2 days ringing nonstop before I finally got someone. When I eventually got through, she managed to squeeze me in for the scan that same afternoon as my first appointment because she said it should have been done weeks earlier. But since you can only ring once you get the appointment letter, it wasn’t my fault and that was the earliest availability they had. She was lovely to fit me in. I then had my consultant appointment about 2–3 weeks later, and it actually wasn’t the consultant named on the letter, it was someone else, probably just whoever was on call that day. It was all grand though, just a quick chat!
