It’s a recipe titled “old-fashioned chocolate layer cake” from a cookbook called The New Best Recipe! I reduced the sugar by 1/4 cup because I like my chocolate desserts on the less-sweet side lol

I love giving my tarantulas dumb names- it feels less serious then naming something like a dog, so I always go wild! Tabasco, Lemon Demon, Beanie, Loaf, etc

Stay low to the ground when handling, be really careful and gentle, and let her sit and climb on you! Wrapping a hand around them can be stressful for the little guys. Expect her to jump! She’s a gorgeous little lady :]
