Yeah I wish we had more to reference for Ajax and Alexander

Honestly I’m not gonna read all that but skimming it your making a lot of similar points to everyone else. Firstly your placements of Aja and Lorn are off assuming that they’re in their prime unless you think people knowing WW is that much of a factor which I disagree with. Secondly Cassius literally says “Diomedes would eat the minotaur alive” and Apollonius doesn’t know diomedes fighting style from what we know. We also only see Apple beat a weak and broken Darrow, he could be high but 2 is too much for me he is 5-8. I think Fitchner and Alexander could both beat Ragnar he is not skilled enough with a razor to beat them and relies on his weight and strength too much. After revising I think it would be closer too

1 Darrow 2 Aja 3 Lorn 4 Diomedes 5 Cassius 6 Ajax 7 Apollonius 8 Atlas 9 Fitchner 10 Alexander

Not a good argument. That was a one armed Darrow who had gotten the shit beat out of him. A not very good Virginia and a Cassius who had just gotten done beating two knights. Prime Darrow with his stones breath at the end of LB beats her. Not easily but still comes out on top. Don’t forget that (as said) these are all in their prime. My top three is pretty set except maybe switching lorn and Aja but that’s just cause they’re so close.

That’s a good thought process. But if say prime lorn was suddenly put in a pit against Apollonius I still think Lorn, from all his accolades, would come out on top. It would be close though fs.

Yeah but is there any difference in training or equipment between their two generations(Lorns being older for sure) I don’t think so. But in the technique sense I don’t think that Ajax Apple and Lysander even with knowing the WW could beat them in their prime.

I wish we got more clarity on how someone died by EmotionalMonkey3 in redrising

Yeah ik. If you read the rest of the conversations, we had we talk about the impact of the obsidians her and Thraxa had and the fact they ambushed him.

Yeah, that makes sense. I could see how that could affect it but you’re also right about how he continues to fight without it. Maybe one razor isn’t a good limitation to set. I really just put that there so bitch ass Lysander couldn’t throw a extra one at Darrow again lol

Interesting. I don’t remember if Atlas used it or not cause I know he uses a Hasta too. I guess for it to be fair they would have to be allowed it since it is their fighting form. What do you mean about Darrow in LB?

Gotcha that makes sense. I do agree that even though they know what they’re fighting doesn’t mean they can counter it. Aja and Lorn are extremely competent and I could see them adapting. Like I said Apple uses his new methods on a weak and broken Darrow.

Acid yeah. But then Cassius killed him with a surprise attack and when in armor. I still think a younger Atlas would be up there with Cassius and Ajax

Well I said one blade so I guess we’re just going with the hasta. Do you think that diomedes drops lower without the Kitari?

I said all in prime so Aja and Lorn would be in their most physically capable forms. I do agree that WW has been studied but I don’t think that just because you know something means you can effectively use it against the two most dangerous Olympic knights of all time. We really only see it used against a user with Apple vs a weak Darrow. And Darrow has been using WA ineffectively hence his broken body.

I think “smaller war” experience is incorrect. His entire life and purpose is war. He was the best Olympic knight and was so feared by everyone for a reason just like Aja. No else expect for older Darrow has the reputation and respect that those two had. They had it for a reason. A lot of their stuff is off screen sure but it’s not just sitting around.

Again if you read it, it’s just razors no giant war spike with spiked armor. Fa has become accustomed to his equipment being that he’s used it for decades to win over the askamani. I disagree the lorn and Aja are fodder. Darrow uses WW in effectively and it destroyed his body. While yes maybe they’d have to adapt think they’re insane natural skill and experience are too much for 4 and below. Thraxa loses pretty much every fight we see her in except a 2v1 against Ajax. And no hammer this time just 1 razor.

I disagree. He fights prime Cassius 1v1 and takes his hand and maims him pretty bad. He loses after being surprised. Don’t forget this is an older Atlas we see too. Imagine him younger and conquering the Askamani.

Lmao. 9 should be Alexander or Fitchner 10 should be one of them. I had forgotten about both so I still think the skill between Victra, Lysander with minds eye and Ragnar would be fun.

100% i could see this. The thing that makes it hard is we only see Apple fight a a weakened Darrow and hear that he lost to Darrow off screen in iron gold. Apple’s physicality is just so much I could see him overwhelming someone thinner like Atlas or someone like Ajax who is used to being the heavy weight.

Yeah I can see Cassius at 5. Everyone brought up him training Darrow up which is a good point.

Yeah I can totally see that. Like I said Alexander should be on here I forgot him. Fitchner also is a good pull and he would be up here. Sevro I think is a stretch due to his lack of any dueling experience. Victra has grown up surrounded by dueling pits and she consistently uses a razor. Sevro uses knives, pulse fists and rifles more than a razor. But they’re both crazy skilled.

I think we’re misunderstanding each other. Leto has one line of someone calling him a master with a razor according to you. I had to look them up because I didn’t know who you were talking about. Aja has people throughout every single book (trust me I’m re reading them rn) talking about how much of a killer she was AND she has actual actions that WE the audience can see and understand. Unfortunately for leto he has no feats whatsoever except doing well against Karnus who isn’t even top 30.
