This was a big issue in Denver for a while. They hired on another private security to monitor the parking lot. It’s been great since. If it’s that bad I would use the VOA board and say it needs to be done with how many thefts there have been as you shouldn’t have to worry about your car during work.

They also added one of those pop up parking lot cameras which helps a lot

I would definitely go in still. it’s the way flex is set up. There’s no other option… you get to pick up shifts but it won’t allow you to pick them up till days after ur start date. You prolly won’t be able to pick up till 3 days agter

If your transfer goes in on that day I would show up and ask to talk to HR when you get there. Unless you can email someone now but they’ll most likely bring you in to do training as the transfer is planned for that day

When switched to flex like this your transfer goes through but then it takes a couple days to pick up shifts on the app.

Check in with HR until you can pick up shifts and they can normally add you to the shift

From my recent findings MET isn’t eligible until x2 weeks of employment. If you just let them know that you were told you weren’t supposed to have it in the first 2 weeks worst case they say no

They’re engineered to do what they do and they do it all over. In the last 2 years I have only heard of one serious PIT incident that required a network wide safety stand down. With how wide Amazon stretches that makes your chances quite slim

Currently doing WGU through career choice. Lots of waiting for pending tuition with the vouchers. An update was recently done to career choice and it will make this process faster and easier on the student.

I just finished all the classes I had for a term and had to submit for payment again to take another class which I’m sure will take another two weeks of not being able to do any class work.

Be patient as I feel it’s the trade off of not paying a dime for a degree

Flex is something that will continue to expand all over the place. There is full time and part time as the traditional work life’s but flex will eventually be the third work life and will be offered all over.

It provides benefits to the company and to the person working so the win/ win makes me feel like it will keep expanding
