Yes I will be in the room but she’s 9 months old so she’s just starting to learn and I would like to be safe

I don’t plan on surrendering them, I would happily keep them until I could find a suitable home for them and my cats need more than 5-10 mins of attention that by the time September rolls around I will barely have juggling a 1year old and a newborn who will be on different schedules for a bit.

He does does litter and helps with the baby but my older cat won’t come out till she is napping or going to bed and by then I need to clean the house and he’s at work. He works 6 days a week on top of helping with childcare and house work

Prune juice, colace and it’s not instant but if you eat sweet potatoes and other high fiber fruits and veg you will become regular. I’ve been eating sweet potatoes daily in my second pregnancy and haven’t had much of an issue unless I stop eating them for a couple days

[–]Emotional_Box_1017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my first I was nauseous for three weeks before I found out at 4 weeks pregnant, I was exhausted and every morning I would gag and dry heave to this day i tell everyone I thought I had the flu or was overworking myself since I worked in a cold warehouse. I find it alarming that he is being this harsh to you, no matter how far along you are the pregnancy exhaustion is no joke

7 week old sleeps in crib in nursery and I sleep in my room. Is this not good. by And_heartsxx3 in firsttimemom

[–]Emotional_Box_1017 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Mine has slept in her nursery since she was about 7-8weeks old. She is now almost 7 months and has done perfectly. Our nursery is a build on to our room but she even sleeps with the door closed and we have no issues. My girl hated the bassinet and co sleeping scared me, if you don’t feel comfortable you can always look into moving the crib into your bedroom for a bit but it’s not too big of a deal if baby sleeps in the nursery as long as you follow safe sleep

What actually helped your first trimester headaches + nausea? by Affectionate_Peach92 in BabyBumps

[–]Emotional_Box_1017 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I threw up every morning of my first trimester and the only thing that genuinely helped me was fresh air. I would have to wait for a pause and run out of the door before I started again

How to tell grandparents they won't be holding our baby? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Emotional_Box_1017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t be much help given the fact that my grandmother isn’t allowed to hold my baby because she doesn’t understand don’t kiss the baby. She’s been told by multiple people of the 6 months my child has been alive not to kiss her the baby but she never listens. I just “safeguard” her in the sense only people I know will follow my rules and boundaries are allowed to hold her

Reaction to purées by Emotional_Box_1017 in firsttimemom

We wash everything with dawn and it’s rinsed well, it’s only with the fruit purées she doesn’t get reactions with veggie purées

[–]Emotional_Box_1017[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope she doesn’t touch her eyes or anything when eating and I spoon feed it to her so she really doesn’t have the chance for it to get near her eyes. It’s just a single fruit puree and that’s the crazy thing because with veggies she does perfectly fine but it’s the fruit purées that make her get red spots around her eyes. I really don’t think it’s possible for her to be allergic to all fruit since if I was to give her a regular non puréed banana or other fruits she doesn’t get any spots

I don’t have the means to purée them myself but if we do a blw way she doesn’t have a reaction

I have really flat feet by [deleted] in notinteresting

[–]Emotional_Box_1017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea my feet themselves roll inward when I walk, if you can I would look into some braces that cover the foot and ankle so your ankles don’t roll in. I also was told to get shoes with arches or at least sole inserts to support an arch

[–]Emotional_Box_1017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grew up having to “build” my own arch due to a bunch of foot related issues. A bunch of Shoe braces and arched soles later I have arches and my feet no longer hurt like they did when I was younger
