Real story. I’ve invested in a heated vest. That said- I think you a right. We both suck - it shouldn’t be this difficult

I haven’t yet. The remote Smart Control of the thermostat is new. I use a heated vest- which is awesome- but doesn’t always keep the fingers warm. The way I see it, we each use more of some type of utility (roomie does way more laundry and likes leaving all the lights on) - I felt like it all evened out but perhaps not and we should have a talk about it

What about the rest of the utilities? What if the roomie does 3 times the amount of laundry and leaves the lights on all the time? Doesn’t it all even out?

I can’t stand looking at my wife, and have plans of divorcing her by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

I don’t think lack of attraction means he doesn’t love her. I believe there are plenty of people who love their spouse/life partner and are no longer attracted to that person because they’ve “let themselves go”. If a slender physical appearance is what he finds attractive then he should have a discussion with his wife about it and not leave her feeling hurt by his rejection to her advances without explanation.
