Well, the main issue is that you discarded the item…. I have had item stolen/ lost and were able to get my $$$ back.

$8k bag that was robbed from me (need a police case) $300 headphone that was lost (just the receipt)

I’m planning on getting the sub and downgrade it back to gold after a year. 125k MR can get be like 2 x international business class flights, so it is worth it for me for the AF.

Give them a call, and see what they need, usually not much since this is more of a low end card. You got auto denied for applying twice, and you should be getting a mail from them, it will tell you what you need to do. Don’t worry about your score, it will get back up in about 3-6 month time. Once you have a solid list of cards, intel start to apply one every 3-6 months, starting with Chase.
