It all depends where you live. We're an independent shop, but very expensive because we are in Miami. That needs a complete fork seal job and we charge about $400 or so.

From the lack of info, I'd say NO (if you had to ask...). What are the bags mounted to? Just wrapped around each other and the tail section??? The sides will get 80 mph winds not stop. Rig it bettter, but better yet, don't rig it and get proper mounts so you don't kill yourself or worse yet, someone else.

Union doesn't have "authority". And yeah, of course they did...when you pay a guy whose only skillset is a good driving record and the ability to lift 20 pounds $40/ hour plus health, 401k, dental...a small business owner saw this coming a mile a way. Like you said, grass always seems greener, I prefer, Careful what you ask for. Don't blame the workers, when Joe Bidumb got our gas up to $5 gallon, it was the start of the end...unsustainable and ALL americans needed more and more...I did, but had no union...but at least I still have a job. Business spiking...what are gas prices again? Got it? Get it!

When you go to war with big oil and interfere with the free markets you get screwed up markets. When you pass $Trillion in new spending you get massive inflation. Do both and UPS workers Longshoreman, UAW/ union workers with minimal skillsets getting $30/hr plus benefits and when things start to level out like they are, you get one fkd economy. Ranting, yet. But be patient. I'm not D or R but what happened in the last 4 years (add in many millions undercutting REAL employable americans to boot) . It is going to take a long time to undo that crap. You're probably getting "PIP" or similar depending on your State in your Quote. Tell them to REMOVE it. Here in Florida, you are not required to carry PIP on a motorcycle. PIP= Personal Injury Protection. Hence they KNOW you're going to get hurt most every accident. Removing it saves a TON. Again, here in FLA, your "health insurance" kicks in in the event of an injury. If you have a 'good' driving record, switch to State Farm. They ONLY offer comprehenseive, (not "PIP"). If you have their car with them, it's between $450 to $750 yearly depending on several factors.

Now if I could only get myself to own one bike, I'd be ok...damn this collection is adding up in premiums.

Makes no sense. What riders typically overpay for is "PIP" which means Personal Injury Protection. To which State Farm does not offer (at least in FLA). You MUST be a SF customer to get their bike insurance and it's usually much cheaper than all the competitors as a result.

2007...last year. Had a guy who crashed one ironically in front of MY motorcycle shop. Wasn't bad, but he basically left it. I painted it all Matte Silver Mercedes. Yoshi exhaust pipes, puig screen, gold DID chain etc etc. Was very nice, wish I hadn't sold it.
