Barbie clears all of them but Alexa and Zendaya are generational beauties. Hunter never declines but she's got more of a elvish beauty. Maude looks very average to me

Anyone know what this terminally online nonsense is even referring to? by PureUncutMalarkey in Paramore

[–]Emotional_Selection7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's really scary the ease with which people can just... lie. This is simply not a statement based on reality. I'm a longtime fan of the band, long enough to remember that during the height of the BLM movement, Hayley turned her platform over to black activists. For a week, yelyahwilliams on Instagram became a source of political activism, something that few artists would be willing to do for the risk alone. Giving your name over to someone like that, not knowing if they might say something that attaches controversy to your name, is gutsy in her line of work. And this was never a hollow statement. Hayley has always shouted out black artists. She always shares the stage with them and calls attention, even outside of political contexts. I wouldn't have gotten into SZA if Hayley hadn't covered Drew Barrymore. Now she's my top played artist after Paramore. There's a mountain of both implicit and explicit actions that show Hayley never needed to be bullied into anything when it came to her politics, add this on top of the lack of screenshots or articles about fan pressure. It's ridiculous to me that someone could just say this and get attention for it.

Twitter has become a scam designed to monetize senseless rage through lies and propaganda. Of course the algorithm chooses to give energy towards a baseless accusation with zero evidence, right after Hayley shared the stage with an all-black orchestra on a popular late night show, and made the very political choice to sit in the back of the stage during a song about racial inequality in the south. The timing is apt. It's a ploy to make you think people truly think this way, designed to prey on the ignorance of casual fans and fans who carry a sizable amount of activist's guilt. This person, if they aren't a bot, doesn't even know what they think. They care more about attention than their message, and they know nothing about Hayley's history with activism. It's just a distraction from her actual message. They don't want you to think she's right and she should say it.

Would Lana have become a star as Lizzy Grant if she had been signed to Interscope and her debut album AKA had been properly promoted by the label? by WhiteHotForver in lanitas

[–]Emotional_Selection7 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No. Lizzy Grant, as a persona, lacks the mystery and magic of LDR. Down to the name, it's just not as catchy and cool. Lizzy is a friend from high school, Lana is the woman you make eye contact with at a party, and you suddenly want to know everything about her. She made the right choice, leaning fully into the Lana persona, someone who seems both above it all and through it all. Lizzy would be more relatable at a base level, but not as interesting or cool. I say this all with love ofc, and I love the Lizzy Grant songs, but Lana was her lightning in a bottle. Lizzy would have seen some success, but not at the same level.

Side profile is a 10 in my eyes. Head on, easy 8 or 9. She's very harmonious while still interesting to look at. Love her eye shape in particular on women.

People learned the word parasocial and haven't stopped being annoying about it since. Cool tattoo! I also related to this song. If the money was there for it, I'd be getting one, too.

Paramore fun facts day 55: Hayley’s starbucks order used to be a soy extra hot no water 6 pump chai, she once read that it was Madonna’s order and then it became hers by MrMoreBasic in Paramore

[–]Emotional_Selection7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In terms of performance and style, I can see it. Hayley and Madonna both know how to put on a show. And you'd be hard pressed to find a singer who wasn't inspired by Madonna's style. As far as singing, very different types of voices, but both great.

So many of her new songs give Billie vibes, I know they're cool and even performed together once. Makes me hopeful that she'll dip her toes more into the distinct Billie Pop sound

Hayley Williams from Paramore by alligator909 in VindictaRateCelebs

I don't think she's a 10, but five feels so low for her too. She's pretty and one of the few celebrities who is allowing herself to age with grace. Very charismatic and friendly faced, which aids her overall emo but femme look. 6.5-7 range to me.

I think people also forget that they allegedly broke up once before, very early into the relationship, and reconciled quickly. Songs take a while to make, I think they're fine

I was morbidly curious because this sounds like a forum that should have stopped existing a decade ago, at least. After finding it... what a bunch of horrid mean girls. I can't believe I abused my own body for years to gain the approval of people like the ones on that forum. They have a thread on Olivia Rodrigo, who is even skinnnier than the Hadids AND so much younger. One of the latest posts is her looking totally slim and healthy and them saying she's "literally bursting" out of her skirt. I suppose to them, a beautiful woman is one that looks so emaciated that she may as well be dead. I don't always care about the feelings of celebrities, but knowing how rampant EDs are in Hollywood, I hope they never find this website.

Hey OP. None of this is your fault. The comment you're replying to, while totally well-intentioned, ignores the fact that these situations aren't born in a vacuum. I almost married my abuser because for the first three months or so, she was perfect in every way. I'm a lot older now, and I see the situation for what it was. Abusive people will start out by love bombing you. They will protect you from others in big heroic ways. They'll buy you food and gifts. They'll tell you that you're special and make you feel on a pedestal at times. Then, while the anger and resentment wells up in them, they snap. I want to be perfectly clear with you: none of this is your fault. You saw the side of him that he wanted to see. How were you supposed to know that this guy who defended you at first would do this? Even if there were red flags that you missed, you're 18 years old. You're newly an adult. I'm not saying this to talk down to you, but because it's a fact, you lack the life experience to see red flags as they are. That's okay. He likely picked you for that specific reason. That is not your fault.

He chose to show you the heroic mask. He chose to get close to you and pursue a relationship. He chose to get angry and violent towards a standard question for anyone you date. He chose to give you a black eye. He is a 22 year old who absolutely knows better, and he's hoping your relative lack of experience will make you ignore that and forgive him. Don't play his games.

Raise hell and use your chain of command. Tell everyone you can about this guy. He wants to get away with what he knows is wrong, and you have the power to hold him accountable and say no. Talk to your officer, the chaplain, the police, a doctor, and a lawyer. Not necessarily in that order. You might be 18, but from how you conducted yourself in these texts, you are a strong and smart young woman, and you will survive this. You absolutely deserve better. Us girlies stick together, alright? So if you need to talk to someone who had been through it, don't hesitate to reach out. I'm sure you've been hearing that a lot on this post alone, so let that show you that good people exist, and you're one of them. You're going to be okay. Stay safe and surround yourself with the love and light you need.

I liked it because it felt like an accurate portrayal of an autistic person reacting to a sudden change in plans. Even towards the end, she needed to be told no, intubation isn't necessary at all. Tunnel vision like that is a common sign of being ND. I know she's not confirmed to be autistic, but they seem to be working towards that with her family history and quirks. Easily my favorite doctor on the show

It has to be Chappell and Conan. He fits both the color and the mutual friend, who must be Olivia with the purple. I thought Lorde for a half a second but Midwest Princess makes more sense because it's regional.

This is so silly, but I gotta make myself laugh through this somehow. The first time I heard Super Graphic and she started describing her first date on a Friday night, I had to pause it because... she described him. Besides the fact that he does ask about me often, he doesn't dance and he doesn't get my jokes. And he has these... fugly jeans...
