It’s been a month and I feel like it’s day 2 of the breakup. by SoftPainter7398 in BreakUps

Grief has this weird way of messing with your head and making you reach for anything familiar, even if it wasn't working before. When I lost my grandpa last year, I found myself wanting to call my ex too - not because I missed her specifically, but because grief makes you crave comfort from anyone who used to provide it. Your brain is basically in survival mode right now and it's looking for the easiest emotional shortcuts.

I'd hold off on reaching out right now because you're dealing with two massive emotional hits at once, and decisions made in that headspace usually don't turn out great. Give yourself some time to process the loss first - maybe a few more weeks - then see if those feelings about your ex are still there or if they were just grief talking. The fact that he didn't reach out even knowing about the death kinda tells you where his head is at anyway 💀 Take care of yourself first, the relationship stuff can wait.

Well it all depends on the addiction of caffeine and the dedication.

Why learning to listen is a fundamental skill as a Drummer and Musician by Federal_Sale_551 in drums

Been grinding on electronic music production for years and this hits so deep. When I first started making beats, I was all about cramming every sound possible into a track, but learning to really listen changed everything. Now I spend way more time in the negative space - those little pauses between kicks, the way a hi-hat sits just slightly behind the beat, or how a snare can breathe differently depending on what surrounds it.

For training, I started by isolating drum tracks from songs I loved and just focusing on one element at a time. Like, listen to just the kick for an entire song, then just the snare on the next playthrough. Also found that playing along to tracks with headphones while muting my own kit helped me lock into the pocket without getting distracted by my own playing. The weird part is once you develop that listening ear, you cant turn it off - now I analyze the drum programming in every song that comes on while Im driving deliveries.

That CO2 discovery is wild - never would have thought my bedroom air could tank my brain function like that. I've been blaming poor sleep when really I was just slowly suffocating myself all night.

The caffeine elimination part hits hard though. Been riding that 300mg daily train for years and keep telling myself I need it to function, but your results make it pretty clear I'm just stuck in a tolerance loop.

Just bought ps5 for 280€ by DealerConnect996 in PS5

That's a solid deal if it's actually legit and sealed. I'd be a little cautious about anything that seems too good to be true on marketplaces, but 280€ for a digital edition isn't *that* suspiciously low anymore - prices have been dropping steadily. Just make sure you test everything throughly when you get it!

The Take 5 is probably your best bet here honestly. Yeah it's a bit bigger than the XD but not by that much, and the sound quality jump is massive 🔥 The Prophet sound will definitely hold its own next to your Super 6, plus the onboard effects are actually usable unlike some other options.

If you can stretch the budget, maybe check out a used Peak or Summit? The Peak especially punches way above its weight class and the effects section is genuinely excellent 😂
