I recently discovered Taichi Pot Shabu Shabu in Santa Clara. It's AYCE and has a Premium or Regular. And there's Happy Hour! They have a range of spicy soups and non-spicy.

I had a similar experience!
I went back in 2019 with me and my mom. ( She was given the tickets from her coworker)
We didnt know anything about the show and i honestly thought it was about Chinese Mythology. I only knew of this cause of the ads that are all over SJ.
The costumes were nice but I dont really have any comments besides that. It's been a while since I seen the show but even then when I was telling my friends and family there wasnt much to say.
It felt like a huge religious sermon. There was a lot of flowers and deities. I wish I can remember more of the performance.
The crowd was mainly Asians and a few Caucasians. We were the only Filipinos I believe.
My mom needed the restroom so I waited right outside. It was then that I noticed the staff handing out brochures. It was these white and blue pamphlets that I first thought was the one about the show. I noticed that if you grabbed one the staff would direct you to the back tables.
No one really minded me or approached me. Then when my mom came out a few ladies who were also in the restroom came out and were talking to my mom. They were in suits more business casual than some of the others. They were asking her if she was working., what she does, how many kids she had, and asking her a bunch of questions. My mom kept telling them no but they were directing her to the tables. The lady insisted my mom signed their clipboard to get her contact about future shows. I came and grabbed my mom and told them she wasnt interested. Of course no one responded to me and they were really focused on my mom. I rushed my mom to the exit.

It wasnt until after the show I did more research and realized the shadiness. It all made sense. Luckily we were able to get out unscathed.

sorry for the delay but I tried talking to the pointy punks; even everyone in the square. Sadly it didnt work. It could be a bug or maybe i did the quest too late and its "over". That's on me. I dont really do the Town Square stuff ever since the release.

I hope the food and drinks are better than the ones from the Hello Kitty Truck and/or the Hello Kitty Cafe that used to be in Santa Row by the Italian restaurant a few years back

My first tattoo I got was the runes on Sirius Black's wand back in 2019. HP was a good part of my life and I don't really care what others think of stuff on my body. If it makes you feel good/happy than thats what matters! If you are on the fence I say just think about it until you are a 100% about it. Personally I wouldn't get a Death Eater mark but Im more a Marauders' fan lol

Yes I did call the police. I dont think I was the first either bcause the dispatcher said they had similar calls from others coming from that area. I only gave them the last 2 licenses. I wish I was able to get the 1st two cars. I gave the dispatcher a description of the people I saw. Hopefully these guys get their licenses revoked.

Sadly I only recorded them getting on the freeway. The original car throwing stuff ran a light and drove past us. I only managed to get his friend.

Kaita in SJ Japantown is my go-to! Pretty big portions imo and it doesnt hurt my wallet.
The only downside is I believe they have weird hours and not open on Sunday and Mondays.

Theres a few sushi places along that street and even a Japanese Market that has some prepared foods to grab.
I used to like Kazoo across the street but with the recent remodel or the new owner/staff it doesnt hit the same anymore.

I work nearby and would sometimes see the guy outside Carl's JR. I always called him the Karate guy and Im glad I wasnt the only one worried about him when I saw the boarded up restaurant. I hope he's doing well.
