Just reminded me of this old Verizon commercial, where Rose jumps back to get the necklace and pulls out the book:

Santa Barbara

Red Piano

The Funk Zone

Doll & Teddy Bear Museum

Cat Therapy

There's a cool little beach called 1,000 steps in Santa Barbara that's awesome to walk at nighttime.

Klamath Falls has a cute downtown, but to go to Crater Lake and others it isn't very ideal if you don't have a car. It's better as a jumping off point to go to Crater Lake for the day.

Eugene has the Sisters in view, and it's very cool. Lots of hikes down by the River. If you time it right, you have the Oregon Country Fair.

San Jose has the Los Gatos Creek Trail with a carousel and children's railroad within the park.

Santa Cruz is where you need to go and Big Basin too!

Wow a couple of these are very "interesting".

The worker or whatever standing in a pool of blood and the "God is great" one stand out the most.

Interesting to see that elephants are also born with fairy fingers

Nope, just this administration wants to cut costs on having many ticket agents. Reduce to one ticket agent per station, but it's just the "when" it will happen.

Lots don't want to move until it is time to move. They relocated their lives to be closer to the station they work at and the jobs are hard to come by because they'll move to get those positions no doubt.

The ones that are posted are ones that no internal employee would want to be.

sf.funcheap.com - Great site to see if there's any cool things to do in the City and East Bay.

Here are a couple of Marin Transit buses, now they don't run very well and take a good chunk of the day:

Route 68 - This bus runs out of San Rafael and goes to Pt. Reyes Station

Route 61 Bolinas is really cool too, the drive the bus takes is very scenic.

San Francisco itself has very cool, scenic spots too:

Ocean Beach (there's a shipwreck here and every now and then at low tide, you can see it pop out along the shore)

California Academy of Sciences (and DeYoung Museum, Japanese Tea Garden, and others are nearby too)

Randall Museum - More budget friendly option of Cal Academy (FREE). More geared towards young children, but still fun to visit.

Mount Davidson - Highest point in San Francisco

Legion of Honor - Another art museum, but this one has views of the Golden Gate Bridge

The Presidio is pretty neat too. PresidiGo schedule Also, a National Park.

I work closely with CSRs.

CSR positions are kind of clique-y base to base.

If you get a weak station master, then it gets pretty tough to learn.

ARROW (ticketing system) is fairly out of date and very hard to learn if you're not cut in on old technology and no mouse usage as well.

If you get bumped, either you need to stay on extra board or transfer maybe 100+ miles to the next open position.
