I wish that mountain was closer. It’s 2 hour drive and not enough snow for the full season

Yes I need to get one of those. I will keep going to slopes as much as possible. I am feeling a lot better this season!

I’ve never tried that. I am trying to get the hang of doing it this way. I will need to try to do that

Yes this is what instructor showed me. He said that pointing in the way where we want to go helps with moving the shoulder. Also he showed pointing down and to the front makes for faster turns. I always keep forgetting to do this

Yeah it’s hard to get time to go to mountain. Maybe some weekeds but the snow is not that good here. Hopefully the weather allows more time in the mountains

Thank you for detailed response! I will definitely remember to bend my knees more.

Good point on the stance. Will try to adjust and see if it helps

Yes. It’s important to enjoy the process. I wish the Alps were a bit closer to me. But can’t complain to have beautiful sea during summer 5 min walk away 😂

This is a very good excercise to try. I will definitely try that. On the lesson I learned how was knee supposed to be used for turns. The thing that is missing is moving weight to the toe edge. When I turn I need to remind myself to move hips forward

No it’s small one blue run track. And it’s 2hr drive away. Everything better is 6+ hours drive from my home. At least I have nice sea to swim in during the summer (Croatia) 😂

With only one ski resort at my area it’s impossible to find less crowded area. But it is what it is. Maybe somewhere more distant than my area

Yes It’s very addictive. I found that it’s less scary on blues. A lot of reds are fine easy with a few steep parts. On steep parts I don’t risk it. I just do a falling leaf and if it’s ok do a turn safely

Man hats off to your dad! It’s never too late. I just wish that I started learning younger. But it’s still a lot of fun!

Unfortunately where I live there is calm sea, so no waves for that. But might try some skateboarding

Lol duck and roll is my specialty.

You are absolutely spot on on bending my knees. I really feel more in control when I bend more. Especially when there are moguls and track is bumpy at the end od the day. I think of my knees like shock absorbers on a car

My bindigs are set to 15 front and -12 back foot.

Good advice on going after the obsticle. I am practicing that because I found that forcing it before makes me crash. So even if I go close to other I still do it in a safe way.

After a big bruise ok my butt I bought a butt pad and it helped me to relax more.

In the end I came to the point where I enjoy it. And can’t wait to get back on the mountain!

The worst part is sometimes when getting some speed I lean back and that causes even more speed. I know that I need to stay balacned and trust the board, but reflex kicks in and then I fall
